so I had this bizarre dream last night where tater tots and chunks of salt were falling from the sky, and nobody except me cared so I was running around trying to gather them

because who would waste good tater tots?

And this guy who kinda looked and sounded like my brother was there, too.

anyway long story short I ended up cooking a bunch of tater tots, sorry to my housemates but they taste really good especially with bacon and cheese on top

and now I'm wondering if the dream had some sort of meaning. Do the tater tots represent my unconscious desire to go back home and back to my school and have cafeteria tots? Does the appearance of that mysterious man that kinda looks and sounds like an older version of my brother mean I'm peeking into the future???

is there somewhere I can look this up? because I'm curious

Yeah, you have plenty of time. I'm still figuring things out too.

And who knows, I may have some hidden talent just waiting to be discovered.

You could! I might be talking to a future star.

I wouldn't mind that. I dream about being a superstar sometimes. Though I'm not a great singer or dancer by any means...

You could be a famous chef. Or something new.

I could write a book, too. A combination cook book and fiction book.

That's a cool idea. You could write recipes based on what the characters eat.

I'd have to make sure nobody else has done it first... which they probably have, knowing my luck.

I don't know. As long as you weren't copying their work, I think it's okay to have more than one book in the same style.

Oh, that's true. I could put a unique spin on it. Like burger shop mysteries. Or Italian restaurant mysteries. Or both.

Both. You could title it 'Under the Tuscan Bun'.

And I could put a boy like Jimmy Junior and a girl like me in them and we can live happily ever after.

Yeah, fiction's a good place for happy endings.

Who's Jimmy Junior?

He's my boyfriend. ... sort of. We're on again off again.

Oh, wow. You're doing better than I was at your age.

I've dated 2 1/2 boys by this point. I say half because one of them was just using me to get to another girl.

That's cool, but that half sounds like he was a jerk.

Yeah, he was pretty creepy. ... he ended up dressing up like me, in fact.

That's going from creepy to obsessive. If he shows up here, stay away from him.

Hopefully he won't. But maybe Jimmy Junior will... and we can be a super chef couple...

That would be pretty great.
