[Right now, text is easy to hide behind, though his spelling etc isn't the best, and he's liable to slip completely into chatspeak. To make matters worse, he hasn't actually slept at all since the night before last. There's a lot of stuff he'd really, really like to forget, thank you very much. And, he doesn't trust his voice.]

It's scary, I know. That's why I wanted to tell ya there's no shame in running if you think you can't deal with it. Sometimes runnin' and letting the guys with the stronger powers deal with it is the best option for survival; it doesn't make ya a coward or a weakling to do that.

Not like this! [It's more petulant than anything, and sometime while Archie's talking. Niko finally decides to take a chair himself, with as much grace as he can muster up. Except yes, he is going to slouch a little. Upbringing or not, he's exhausted.

I don't know. I can't speak for them, but I think they have an us and them mentality. [he goes quiet, suddenly, picking up a spoon and sticking it in the coffee.] The natives here have died because of imPorts.

Some imPorts are dangerous. Sometimes they kill natives for fun or just... by accident. There's been at least one murder since I got here. The poor woman was just dumped in the garbage... [the roman wasn't an import, but archie shudders suddenly, remembering the feel of his neck breaking. he tries to shake off the rise of nausea.] I haven't really looked into it completely, but I'm sure some imPorts have been killed by natives, too.

[he rests his chin on his fist, no longer looking at niko.]

The more Archie speaks, the more disturbed Nikolai's starting to look.

It takes a while to even think of something to say, and by the time he does, he's gone from disturbed to unnerved to trying to hid it behind a look of 'well, not my problem.']Hmph! This world is Stupid. We're their Psychics and you don't - don't always understand Psychics, but that's no reason to do - do any of that.

[It's for the best one of his powers isn't manifesting his mood or emotions - there would be a storm cloud over his head. As far as he's caring right now, the people that attacked were like the Rockets. Strong in a group, and weak if you got them alone.

[rolling his eyes, archie gets up out his chair to dump the mug in the sink. he gets it, but still isn't really impressed.]

Do any of your team need healin'? Crobat got a little burned and beat up but it's better.

I think we should let them fly together. Not-- for any bleeding heart bullshit you think I'll pull, but Crobat is the eldest in the 'bat evolutionary line. It can probably show Golbat a few things... at least, that's what I did with my grunts an' their Zubats and Golbats back home.
