Good morning everyone,
I'm supporting some continuing cleanup activity for the Nonah police, relating to the vandalism. If you see any more, or have noticed new problems come up, you can let me know. I can't imagine a party being what stops upset people from expressing their feelings like this, so...
(This offer is OK for other cities too! I've talked to each hub city's police commissioners about my offer and gotten the green light to support)
Also...if you're not feeling safe in your neighborhood, let me know. I can talk to some of the staff who assign patrol rotations and see if things can be moved around. It might not be too much, but it's something that can help.
That's all for right now I think...thank you for your support!

IF YOU GET TOO MUCH WORK AND NEED A QUIET NIGHT, I'LL LOOK AFTER SCOUT FOR A COUPLE NIGHTS IF YOU WANT.

So far, he's been pretty eager to come along on canvasing jobs. Thinks he's a K-9 or something haha...but at least it does wear him out a good bit.

But in any case, thank you. I think I should be OK, but I'll rely on you if I need the extra hand. [granted, he'd have to be half-dead to admit he needs help. but. look. shut up.]

Are you also helping out the local law enforcement?

Is there an easy way to communicate with them rather than just trying to show up when they're there?

For fire? I'm not actually sure. It's possible the city ambassador has a name for that one. As for police...I guess you could talk to me? Since I'm studying here to join the force.

Oh really? I didn't even realise we could, but then again, I've been military my whole life and the rules are a bit different. What's it like?

I mean, the process isn't really tricky. You have to interview, take a preliminary exam, have certain learning and license requirements beforehand...procedural things like that, which makes sense. Not just anyone deserves to have a badge and serve.
It's more that the atmosphere is very hard to navigate right now. Some people are glad to have me there, trying. Others think I'm some kind of spy, trying to sabotage the force.
Being an imPort...I already get special treatment. So even though I'm trying to do this from the ground up, the deck is already stacked in some ways I have to try and fix.
I don't know what your military was like, especially if you were seeing a lot of combat, but I think...or rather I hope it wasn't as full of red tape. So you could actually do the job and help, I mean.

And I wish I could tell you it was different. But the Fleet had just as much red tape. It wasn't until I joined the Resistance that I felt I could actually do anything.
As for special treatment - you were also kidnapped against your will. Super 'special'.
