I need a list of about 80 or 90 pet names, if anybody has any suggestions.


Alternatively, I'm taking opinions on when it's not worth it to try to name individual animals anymore, and just refer to them as a collective.

The older ones who have been around me the longest can actually find people for me, if I need them to help me track someone down, or repeat things other people have said that they overheard, even if those people can't talk to rats.

...But the new ones, yeah, mostly they want to talk about food.

Huh. Well that's... actually, I don't really know what to say. Like, I can see how that could come in handy for certain things? But at the same time the idea of being spied on by a bunch of gossipy rats doesn't exactly thrill me.

[ He pauses, then adds: ]

Um, not that I'm saying you would do that. [ A beat, and subject shift: ] Why do you like rats so much, anyway?
