So. What is the big deal about turning eighteen anyway? What do you do then? I mean. Sure. University or whatever, I'm looking into that. It's not all that different from being seventeen is it? I dunno on having some massive party or anything.

I could see how it might be a big deal back home, but. Not so much here, I guess.

I guess that's something then. If it gets people off of my back about my age. It wasn't such a big deal back home, I mean they let me join the military when I was sixteen.

I dunno. I don't really have anything planned. Wouldn't put it past Mika or Nike to probably be plotting something behind my back though. So I guess we'll see?

Hm, we will see. it's good to celebrate those things, though, if only to spend time with your friends.

Yeah, I know home was pretty different to this and had its own circumstances.

But exactly! I mean, I think so. Doesn't matter if you're eighteen or eight hundred, it's still a birthday!

I don't have anything planned. I only figured it was coming up because it's October now. But I wouldn't be surprised if Mika or Nike --
or both -- were plotting something.
