[A lot of what he feels and who he is fits that descriptor - warped - aptly. He knows it too, but it's like a speeding train on a track. There are no brakes and once the train collides with any obstacles, it's just...pure destruction and chaos.]

You're right. [He lifts his chin, determined to...make it better. To prevent that from happening.] I have to make myself stronger. Otherwise I will hurt them repetitively.

I think that would be worse than letting the future happen naturally.
