My name is Hera Syndulla. I've been told that it's rather common for me to be missing my ship, but I'm... I'm hoping that someone from my crew made it here. Phoenix Squadron, Specters, if you're out there... It'd be good to hear your voice.

[ She's clearly worried, looking away from the camera and clearing her throat slightly before shuffling a few papers off screen. ]

[He has no idea who she is but 'phoenix squadron' definitely sounds like something associated with the Rebellion. That assumption seemed to be confirmed by other responses but it seemed that she didn't even know about the Battle of Yavin yet.]

I have to admit that I didn't expect to see a Twi'lek arrive.

Yes, it appears there are quite a lot more humans here than even I'm used to.

[ She's used to seeing a blend of people- maybe not Twi'leks in her parts of the galaxy, Lothal and Atollon, but at least Rodians, Ithorians, and Gotals were fairly common. Here it just seems like there are... humans. And that one Duros that answered her. ]

A Social Worker is someone who works with people, families, groups, neighbourhoods, and communities to help promote their well-being. They may work with rehabilitating criminals, work for child welfare agencies, or generally to connect people to community resources.

[ The Syndulla clan isn't exactly small. There are nearly 6,000 members that carry her name all across the stars, flung to the winds piece by piece with the Empire's dealings on Ryloth. Hera, however, is a bit rarer.. ]

It's a relatively common one on Ryloth.

I do not recognize the call signs, but perhaps others will. As for a social worker, I am uncertain as to what they consider that to mean here.

[It is extremely disappointing that they cannot go off planet. And honestly? Hera ends up frowning about it. But the voice on the other end of the comm sounds nice enough, even if he doesn't recognize her call sign.

Still, no way to know if he's imperial or not... Mind you. Most of the politics of this place are lost on her- without the Empire at it's core, who can she trust? ]

i haven't seen a ship that's been able to do any kind of interplanetary travel so far. out of luck there, unfortunately.

a social worker, i think, is someone who helps you with different issues. helps you get services, benefits, that kinda thing.

you mentioned a droid. what kind? i currently live with one and had known them in my galaxy.
