If ImPorts truly had a choice in the matter, then, as many of the responses to this post will tell you, a great many of them would have made the choice to return already.

Don't be foolish. That simply is not the case.

I'm not at all being foolish. I'm suggesting the possibility that certain ImPorts have been given the choice and we simply aren't aware of it.

However, I didn't mean to suggest I think I will be given a choice. I simply said that I'll take the first chance I get to get out of here. You can interpret that however you like.

[As if the Porter would bring people into this world unwillingly just to turn around and allow them to go home upon request. D33 isn't buying it.]

I "doubt it" too, but that doesn't make it impossible, and it would be foolish to completely dismiss any possibility.

Not nearly as foolish as considering that the Porter or Lachesis has any concern for the desires of ImPorts.

Suggesting that Lachesis might offer deals to certain ImPorts to return home isn't at all the same as suggesting that she cares about any of us. Again, you can interpret what I say however you want but that's not actually what I'm saying.

Well, Arthur, if you become aware of such a deal, do be sure to let the rest of us know how to bring about the same.
