Not all worlds are as seemingly pleasant as your own, Blue. Though, I suppose that my intention in creating this post would be to ask the same question.

What, you jealous? [It's annoyingly taunting, but weary.] I mean, I guess there are things in this place that I like, but I don't know if it's worth the dangerous stuff.

As I've said, the trials of your world seem to compare little to that of this world, not to mention the worlds from which many of the ImPorts have come.

It is of little surprise to me that you might wish to return there.

...It's not like our world doesn't have dangers, but. It isn't the same as it is here. Even when the world is ending.

[And was trying to avoid thinking about this very subject, and yet here it is conveniently in his face. Maybe he's a little glutton for punishment.]

Um. I got sent home, yesterday. Apparently.

...So, some stuff happened.

Yeah, I guess that's what they call it. Um, it was... maybe a week at home? Something like that. And now I'm here, but it was just Halloween... So I guess it was just for a day.

I don't get it. What's even the point?

Should I or any ImPort know the answer to that question, Blue, I suspect that this world would quickly become a much different place.

What I am saying is that if any one of us had the necessary information to answer that question, it would likely be the same information necessary to bring about a solution to it.

From what I can tell, either outcome is highly unlikely.

We are simply not meant to know such things.

Maybe there's some way to ask to stay... But everyone seems to think it just works however it wants. I mean, Porting people in and out.

Given the information that we as ImPorts have, that does seem the only logical conclusion, I'm afraid.

If you are referring to the question that I poised in my post, I was simply curious to know what the thoughts of other ImPorts might be on the matter.

The responses have been quite interesting, as I suspected.

Thinking about something you can't even do anything about sounds like a waste'a time to me.
