X05 | Text | UN: D33
Given what you've experienced in this world, would you return to your own if given the choice?

Such as?

Why?

Because millions of people will die. Billions. If I can do anything to help stop it, I have to try.
no subject
Or will you simply become one of the billions dead?
[He's pulling no punches today, Taylor. If you're safe from such a war in this world, the fact that you would ever seek to return to your own is, in D33's opinion, pure foolishness.]

I'm good at what I do. I know I can make a difference. Even if that's just saving a few people, it's still worth it. And if I die, I'll go knowing I was doing something that mattered.

Such thinking is foolish. There's little point in martyring yourself for the lives of strangers, especially if they will likely perish either way.
[What the hell indeed.]

As for your question, I'm not entirely sure what it is you're meaning to ask.
[Problem? What problem?]
no subject
Or at least I can't. Maybe you can.

[He doesn't feel the need to defend himself on that, either - any other way of thinking is pure foolishness. Even given the fact that D33 has managed to make a few strong connections in this world, it is hard to imagine sacrificing his life for any one of them (aside from Kaneki, perhaps, though he won't even admit that to himself). The idea of doing so on the behalf of complete strangers? Utterly ridiculous.]
