I got a question for people that... know more about powers.
[Blue frowns, chin in hand. There's a new Pokemon sitting on the counter next to him, small and fox-like, grooming its paw. It glances up at the feed with a curious “vui”?]
When I look at people, something pops up in my head. Some other people told me it's like... 'scanning'. I don't know what to call it or what it means, but when it happens, it makes me see people as Pokemon types. Like how Arcanine is a Fire-type. Or Eevee here is a Normal-type. [He gestures to the little creature beside him.] But people don't have types, back home.
I mean, of course this place is nuts, so weird stuff happens. But how do I figure out what these 'powers' I got are supposed to do? How do I know what it means?? I've been here this long and I still have no idea.
--Oh yeah, speaking of Arcanine, here. Check this out!
[At the end of the post there's an additional link with an embedded video. The video shows a big pile of leaves- for a few seconds, nothing happens, but soon there's a pattering of.. is that hooves? Nope, the big blur of furry orange that is Arcanine slams right into the pile, sending it scattering. Look at him romp through the leaves! What a big, happy dog.]

[He's only met a couple aliens so far, but this guy seems more like the kind he's seen in movies before.]

And it's just...I mean, it's nice being able to leave the planet, but after a really long time on a spaceship it's nice to get off it. But then, after being stranded on Earth for a while, I start wishing I had the option of leaving. So I guess it's like having your own car. Your own car that is large enough to live in, and walk around on, and keep test subjects on and run experiments on...so not much like owning a car, really.

And the experiments are nothing too serious. Mostly just catch and release stuff. We do a mind wipe after, although they sometimes remember bits and pieces anyway.
And I don't do that anymore.
