[The video opens to a man in his mid-twenties wearing a white shirt that looks a bit too tailored for someone like him. Eli Vanto adjusts the collar twice before he begins to speak, clearly nervous and apprehensive.

Eli hates the spotlight and right now he feels as if he is.]

[He clears his throat, trying to tone down the Wild Space accent, oops.]

Hello, so. I'm supposed to introduced myself or something? I'm kind of tired though and I have a paper cut.

Anyway, I'm Eli Vanto and your new friendly local bartender according to my file.

[Right, that's enough about himself.]

Thursdays have an extended Happy Hour schedule as holidays are coming up. Or so I was told. So, yeah.

[She doesn't often answer the newcomer messages on the Network, but the accent catches her attention enough to respond. As always, she opts for audio since she's still unfamiliar with him.]

I'm afraid I don't know what Happy Hour is, but this is generally where someone already established would say, 'welcome' or something of the sort. I find it depends on your circumstances prior to your arrival, so I'll say - 'you're here, do you have any questions?' - instead.

Apparently it is when you pay for one drink and get two. A sound deal if you're looking to drink - a lot. Or with friends. I mean you can always come down and try for yourself, see how it works out.

[Eli takes a deep breath because he is so not on board with being stuck here.]

Thanks, I am not sure what I should be asking. The whole experience is too surreal to me still. One day you're in space and then you're stuck on a planet as a bartender.

Perhaps. I've never been one for letting myself get impaired with fermented beverages. But I see the value in it, on occasion.

Yes, being planet-bound has been the biggest adjustment for me, as well. I don't believe anyone's figured out how to get off of it yet, unless you work for the government. I believe they are shooting some .. reality holo-- er, television program in space sometime soon. [That was an on-purpose mistake, a test, to see if Eli is from the same universe.]

then, of course, it is clear this is not bellamy blake at all, once there's a complaint about a paper cut, the word 'friendly' is included, and some kind of whack ass accent is going on. unless he's just trying really hard to be incognito, but why even would you? welp, this is annoying. ]

I wasn't sure you would be interested, Director, but yes. Thursdays are two for one and I believe there are some plans for having a Trivia Evening sometimes in future. If that is to your liking.

[Eli tugs the collar of his shirt again. SHOTS FIRED.]
