[Brendan looks exhausted, like he hasn't slept in at least a few days, hair more of a mess than usual - an accomplishment, to be sure - and wrinkled clothes home to more coffee stains than normal. His eyes are dull behind his glasses as he stares directly into the camera, voice solemn and edged with urgency.]

Where's Manabu? Manabu Yuuki, about three inches shorter than me, chronic fluffy hair, apologies like he breathes? I hate to interrupt people talking about Thanksgiving shit they could look up on their phones [this is a lie, going off of the flatness of his voice] but I can't track down my boyfriend. I went through his stuff, asked his coworkers, had words with everyone who might've seen 'im around locally, thumbed through his communicator's memory, an' there's nothing. It's like he just up and left.

Which he wouldn't do. Not without his power nullifer. [From behind Brendan, a small, distressed looking grey puppy barks.] Or Scout, for that matter. Anybody sees him, ping me? An' if you have some clue on where he is, I want words. With his history here it's not all that likely he got Ported out so much as he got in deep, somehow. Fighting crime does that. [He waves a hand dismissively, reaching over to grab more coffee.] Don't worry about the hour when you call me, jus' call if you know what's going on. I'll be up.
