so what are you, jets or sharks? montagues or capulets? yankees or red sox?

I don't know what any of those things are. But I'm going to say "none" on all of them. The current debate included.

[gonna do it anyway]
do droids have feelings
not just some feelings but all of them. every feeling a human can have
no subject
No, you can't ask me something.

I’m just curious, there’s nothing like droids in my world so I have no idea
no subject
It depends on the droid, but in my specific case, yes. All of them.

one more question
what about falling in love? it's usually based on hormones and brain things, so can a machine do that?

i was just curious
i mean maybe you can answer about other droids not just you? ive never met or talked to a droid before and i'm just interested
but i can stop
didnt mean to be rude

He reaaaally doesn't want to discuss this, but he can do it.]
Fine.
I have never met a droid who has fallen in love with someone, but I would consider it possible. Programming can be similar to a human's "reward pathway" if said droid has enough awareness. Doing tasks that fulfill one's programming is "good." If one's programming involves specific loyalty to a person, then they can interpret that perpetuating the happiness of who they're loyal to as still falling under loyalty protocols. If you want happiness for someone, isn't that a form of love?
[And because he can predict what her next few questions might be-]
I am not answering any more questions on this.

that was a really interesting answer though
it kinda reminds me of being a parent. our brains are designed to think our baby is the king shit baby better than all the other babies. it’s in our brains we have no choice
its like programming

Human instinct is almost essentially your form of 'programming', and human body functions are produced through means comparable to my own.
You are made of electrical signals and use neurotransmission with chemicals to move and talk. I do as well. You have lines of code arranged in a pattern that make up who you are. I do as well.
