Hey, so...! I'm trying to think up some fun activities to get someone to do with me. Someone who hasn't really had time to take it easy and let loose, who kind of really needs to. [He closes his eyes for a moment, rubbing at his chin.]

We've gone to the beach and that was fun. I was thinking about maybe a picnic when it gets warm again, and maybe sledding or a snowball fight around now... I know the best things definitely come up spontaneously, but there's gotta be a good direction to go in, right?

What are some things you feel like you should definitely get to experience while you're still arguably a kid?

[He's 17, which... I mean there's just some kind of arbitrary line at which point you become an adult, right? Sure. They must be getting close to that line, and Akira needs to make sure to squeeze as much Dumb Teenager Stuff into their remaining time as possible.]

Do you know how to ride a bike? Because when the weather gets warmer, riding bikes can be fun. My siblings and I did that a lot, anyway.

Oh yeah, for sure! It's been awhile since I got on a roller coaster.

I will try to drag him to the party though. He needs to be able to let loose some more, ya know? He's like. a kid detective, he hasn't done hardly anything fun, ever.

Also it needs to be a bucket list because who knows how much time we have. Here. Or at all. I want him to get to enjoy his time here, as much as he can. [Because as far as they both know, he is dead at home. So anything they do here is kind of like a bucket list, isn't it?]

Well, if you're gonna get arrested, make sure you do it before you turn 18. Um-- [ Squinting. ] Disney World was a good one. Or Six Flags. I've never actually been to any, but I feel like those places probably start getting lame once you're old.

Yeah! Maybe we should try something like vandalism. I think it'd be fun to do just once. Nothing really terrible, maybe just graffiti or something like that. Maybe steal a road sign or something. Trespassing. I dunno.

Amusement parks probably aren't as much fun once you're older, too. That one is a definite.

You know... I doubt it! I'd have to ask him, though. A zoo could be fun. OR an aquarium, even. Something like that.

To be honest, I don't really remember much about what I did when I was a kid. It's all kind of hazy. I do remember that I started to get really into sports and games, but - huh, but that's not just for kids, is it? You want something that you can only do when you're a kid, right?
