i think a lot of folks try to at least pretend like they like something? even if they hate it? so they, unlike you right now, would have tried to spare me any kind of embarrassment or hurt feelings and say they liked something even if they didn't.

i made these super fucked up looking clay animals for my girlfriend who's into pottery and stuff. they were "the most diseased and horrifying looking abominations" she ever saw and she bizarrely loves them bc her brain's broken. but we don't pretend i made a masterpiece. you know?
