right?? it's the weirdest thing. You'd think people would at least try a little. A partnership's all about compromise, but it's also about love and wanting to know every part of someone.

i have no idea what that means, but okay.

right. i mean, i get that you can never know anyone ENTIRELY, like there are always gonna be things you just don't know or don't share or whatever, but .. yeah. communication's pretty high up there, too. i think almost all of the couples i've known who've failed for one reason or another didn't communicate well, and it blew up in their face at some point. sometimes i think people think that like, 'getting the girl' or whatever is the end goal, and then you don't have to try any more after that. like, that's it. you won the princess in the castle at the end of the game.
