[ Hello, everyone. Tonight, Kanan's surroundings look a little... different than usual. He's definitely not in Florida. Instead, he's in what appears to be the warm and cozy kitchen of a warm and cozy log cabin, probably in a snowy forest somewhere, like something out of a fairy tale. A nice, romantic one, anyway.

He's seated at the kitchen table, mask off, face bare as his hands cradle a mug of something hot - cocoa, or coffee, or tea. He looks thoughtful. ]

So, I'm not usually the sort to do stuff like this, but I'm - hm. [ He scratches absently at his beard. ]

I don't really have anyone I can ask, privately. So I guess I'm gonna just put it out there. I want to do something for the person I love. I want to show her - you know. I want to show her.

[ He waves a hand vaguely at the surroundings. ] We got out of town for a bit, but I don't know. I guess I'm hunting for more ideas. More than just... buying a gift.

That's kinda the thing - we didn't really have the time back home, to do anything. This is the first time I've ever had the chance to think about it.

That's always nice. What about doing activities together? Either .. something the other person really likes or something neither of you have done but have always wanted to try?

I got her flying lessons for that Christmas holiday. She's a pilot so she can get her pilot license here. As for the other thing - I can't really think of anything I haven't tried that I'd want to. Maybe my adrenaline junkie days are over.

Did she have a favorite place, old galaxy? A planet or…?

This planet has such diverse environments, might be able to find somewhere to visit that's reminiscent.

We're doing that. We're - hm. It's called "Catskills", it's all foresty mountains and covered in snow. Nobody else for miles around.

[ Kanan flashes a grin of his own. He's happy. The happiest he's been in quite a while. The only thing that could make him happier right now would be having Ezra and Sabine and Zeb in this world, too. But he'll take what he can get. ]

Yeah. She needed it. We both did.

Marriage is usually a big way to show it.

But truthfully, not everyone is ready for that. So there are always things like a vacation together, somewhere you know it'll touch her.

But - maybe you're right, about the marriage thing. It wasn't really feasible back home. But here - maybe.

Thanks, buddy, I'm glad too.

Nothing from mine, and I'd have to ask her to know if there's something from hers, which would kinda defeat the purpose of making it a surprise. She's the only Twi'lek here that I know of.

I don't have any good ideas, though people at the pub sometimes talk about romantic gestures like filling a room with flowers or something.
