[ This video starts around mid-morning (say, 11-ish?) and Iris waves to the camera, sitting prim and proper in some fancy office. The scattered mugs of coffee, however, betray just how long she's been up and running - ]
Hey everyone! Just wanted to thank everyone again for all their efforts helping out last month. I know it's a little late, but by now, you should've gotten a token of our appreciation. If not - or you still want one, lemme know.
[ by which she means, for those who've either donated or offered assistance in some way: one of those cute holiday mugs, filled with candy canes, hot cocoa, and kosher/halal marshmallows. Just in case those pesky dietary restrictions come into play. And yes, they were entirely out of her own pocket. (No misuse of donations here!!) ]
For those who may not know me, I'm Iris. I help run the O'Malley Clinic here in De Chima with Dr. Watson, and we're actually looking for volunteers, staff, you pretty much name it. Medical experience not necessary for the administrative or public health stuff - trust me. [ she laughs, ] I'm not a doctor.
I'd ask for resumes and CVs and the like, but honestly, we'll take anyone who's willing to work and learn. [ beat ] Which, as some of you might've guessed, means we'll see what you've got in-person.
Thanks for hearing me out. [ and just before she cuts the feed, she sits up straighter, as if remembering something - ] Oh! And if you have ideas for health classes, pitch 'em. We're planning to start those up next month.

( Because social awkwardness, but also because paranoid shut in. And also the last time she worked on a group project she was in a coma for a couple of days, but that's just renegade import life. )
We can link in together on projects remotely, if necessary. I want to help, not make things difficult.

Knowing him, he's probably stretched a little thin, so I'll see if he's willing to let you take the reins.
[ Work is all about compromise, and Iris really is flattered that MK wants to help, so! She's gonna do her best to make this as smooth as possible. ]
Thank you.
This really does mean a lot to me, and I appreciate the help.

( There's a pause, and she debates not sending the next part. She knows who George O'Malley is; Sarah was involved with him, and she had a version of him in Heart Kapow, before he disappeared. However, she is curious to know what people will say about George O'Malley, even if she can't know their deepest thoughts.
For Sarah's sake, it might be good to know. )
I didn't know the person the clinic was named after. I assume it was named after Dr. O'Malley who posted on the network?

Despite that, he was always kind and eager to help. Also super funny, though I don't know how he'd take that.
[ Iris didn't know him super well, after all - which just makes the inheritance even odder, in her opinion. George trusted her that much? Despite her not being around that long??
(She wonders, even now, what kind of impression she had made.) ]
So even though I have zero medical experience... I want this place to thrive.
George believed in it, and he believed in me. It's the least I could do.

( Skilfully done, MK. Socialising is so rough.
"My sister misses him," she could write, but that would give away far too much. "That's why I want to help."
But she can never say that, not to Sarah, not to Iris. )
Are you utilising traditional medicine only or ImPorts with healing abilities?

[ there's also a kid who's offered to volunteer, though Iris is a little more skeptical given that he's fifteen... and seems to know who Doogie Howser is. ]
They've got an incredible gift, tbh. If they wouldn't mind helping, I wouldn't exactly say no.

We have a website over here, actually. [ and she takes a moment to link the one currently on the web. It's rather bare-bones, and sparsely updated. Iris is more of a blogger than a web designer, after all. ] BUT I also know it could use some work. I didn't want to overwork Cisco, so I tried my hand at a basic webpage builder. Any flaws are completely my own.

I will fix your website. It could be trial run for my assistance, if you like. Information for staff, patients and volunteers. When emergencies happen there could be information posted regarding the clinics status and whether it is impacted by the inevitable disasters here.
( because that is so basic that it's actually quite upsetting to her little coder heart )

[ Website coding is quite frankly, beyond her skillset, and she doesn't even try to pretend otherwise. ]
You've got carte blanche, so let me know if you need access to the EMR and/or anything else I'm not thinking of at the moment.
no subject
Yes. That is why I said it.
I will need to get photographs for the website. If you can email me any documents with information on your services and any logos the clinic uses that would be useful.

[ She'll attach a giant zip file with everything MK needs: vector logos, various assets, and various documents regarding their services, including upcoming classes Dr. Watson and Angela want to teach in the future. ]
A form for classes would be nice, btw. Just so the docs can see how much interest there would be in what they're planning to teach. :)
[ and yes, one of them is indeed titled 'How to Brush your Teeth.' George had been very, very clear about wanting that to be a priority. ]
no subject
I will do this. Do you want there to be an email subscription for upcoming classes?
( there's a pause as she debates sending the next part. )
If I can find a picture of Dr. O'Malley do you want that on the website, too?
no subject
[ She doesn't want to burden MK with anything more, and well - she can write a newsletter and send it every week. ]
If it wouldn't be much trouble.
George was a great guy, and tbh, I regret not getting a good pic with him. Or of him, now that I'm thinking about it.
