He dreams it. That's his power. [ There are others, she's started to catch onto or learn about, but Ronan is private and for now, she'll keep things simple. The Meadows is a lot to take in at once.

She leads them towards the side of the house, towards a door and instead of digging for keys in her bag, she simply reaches out and opens the door, stepping inside and pulling it open further so he can follow her into her room.

And if there ever were a room that could whisper her name it is this one. The room is beautiful and has bookcases filled with books, a milkshake machine and every window is a view of the lavender fields in France, despite the fact that outside, there is clearly a completely different view.

She sets down her bag near one of the sofas before glancing at him with a tentative smile.] This is my room.

[ And he thought his power was too good to be true, this is some next level stuff. Not that he's thinking too much about that now that they're actually in her room - if the outside was impressive, this is... yeah. This is a lot, in a really good way. Perfect. ]

...I had no idea what to expect, but this is exactly it. [ More her room than her actual bedroom back home, somehow. ] It's beautiful, Betty.

Thank you, [ she says it in that soft, flattered voice she gets, her head tilting downward, bashfully. ] He let me dream it with him and I picked everything out. [ She moves to sit on the couch, pulling off her shoes and socks with a tired sigh. ] It was a surreal experience.

I can imagine. [ He turns his attention to the decor, back half-turned to her so she can have some privacy to change. Hands still in his pocket, now less casual and more out of a fear to break something by accident. ] Actually, no I can't.

How long did it take before you got used to all this?

A month, I think. [ She says it with a laugh before she moves to stand and head towards her closet, which is surprisingly modest. She pulls out a pair of jeans and a sweater, her go-to outfit before she glances at him, a smile quirking her lips.]

You know what else is surreal? You. Here. [ She glances downward.] I wasn't sure if you'd ever show up.

[ That breaks his heart a little. Maybe they weren't really hanging out much back home, but they still had the option. Really being apart like this sounds like hell. ]

I hate that you had to go through that. [ There's a shiver of emotion in his voice. There's a lot he hasn't processed yet, but he's starting to. ] I'm here now and I'm not going anywhere if I can help it. Not without you.

[ She moves to lay the clothes over the back of the couch before approaching him, reaching out for his hands, letting hers slide up his arms until she can hold his face.]

I'm just glad you're here, Jug.

[ That's all the invitation he needs to kiss her, softly and sweetly and full of emotion. He missed her back home, even if she was right there, missed her with an ache that somehow made it easier to go full out against Penny. Having her back, having them back to how it used to be in the early days... he can't mess this up. ]

[ She returns that kiss with equal emotion, pressing closer to him. It feels like it's been longer than just a month since she's seen him. But it's been a rough one. No matter how complicated things are back home, no matter what he remembers doing or what she does, he's here right now.

One hand leaves his face, arm wrapping around his waist to pull him closer, fingers curling in the fabric of his jacket. And she only breaks the kiss to whisper against his lips: ] I love you, Jughead Jones.

I love you too, Betty Cooper.

[ There was a tour to be had and housemates to meet but right now, in this moment he wants nothing more than to continue kissing her for as long as possible. In this moment, he can believe that they got what they wanted - Romeo and Juliet with a happy ending. They escaped. ]

[ This is what they wanted, this is the place they talked about. There's no Northside or Southside or Serpents, Ghoulies. No crazy moms, no Black Hoods. They were free of it, even if there are other things here that might be even more dangerous. She feels like she can face anything, now that he's here.

She keeps on kissing him, deepening the kiss as the hand at his back clutching at him a little tighter.]

[ The way she touches him sets his blood on fire, his hands moving over her clothes, finding their way to bare skin or tracing the soft curves of her waist, her hips. They... haven't - and he's not in any rush but there's been a few close calls, feels like it's been only a matter of opportunity. This could be a good one, alone in her room and away from parents but he still breaks the kiss after what feels like hours but is probably more like minutes. ]

Betty... [ Breathless. ]

[ Things get heated and she feels warmth pooling in her cheeks, a flush spreading over her chest. She wants to be closer and she's impatient as his hands move along the curves of her body, restless. And when he pulls back, the air between them is heated, electric.

She's just as breathless and her hands move to push his jacket off his shoulders as she walks them backward towards the reading nook. She whispers into his mouth: ] Yeah?

[ Good point. He can't really argue with that. ]

Nothing.

[ He wrestles out of his jacket, decides to get rid of the flannel shirt while he's at it, hands returning to her hips as soon as they're free. Wherever she wants him, he's there. ]

[ Humming against his lips, she somehow manages to get them to the nook, hitting the backs of her knees at the edge. It's then that she breaks the kiss to look at him, utterly breathless and flushed.] Juggy... [ She kisses him again, softer this time.] Should we go to the bed or...? [ Stay where they are.] Or do I owe you a tour instead?

[ He needs a moment to parse what she's asking, to catch his breath. ]

We could. I want to, but- [ Preparations. Responsibility. He doesn't want to get them in the wrong kind of trouble. ] Maybe we should stick to the tour..? For now.

[ He makes the responsible choice. She definitely doesn't have condoms in this room, she didn't think she'd be having sex here. And well, they've never... she's never... At his words, she nods, letting out an amused breath.]

Okay, okay, yeah. [ She kisses him again, softer, more gentler.]

[ He hates being responsible but it's better in the long run, even if it's incredibly difficult to slow down now that they've gained some momentum. He kisses her back before pulling away to press their foreheads together, a gentle yet frustrated sigh slipping past his lips. ]

I love you. So, so much.

[ She offers him a quiet smile in return, her hand falling to his shoulder.] I love you, Jug. [ He's here. They're both here. And she's selfishly grateful for it. She moves to pull back from him.]

I should probably go change.

Yeah... right. You should.

[ And while she does that he'll get his shirt and jacket back on and make an effort to cool down. Can't meet the roommates if he's all worked up, that'd be a terrible first impression. ]

[ She grabs her clothes and moves to change in the closet because, well, stripping down in front of him isn't the best idea considering what they just had to stop doing.

It doesn't take her long to get changed before she emerges with a smile.] How's the place you're staying? Have you met your roommates yet?

[ He's grateful for that courtesy, honestly. For being a teenager he's not that sexual of a guy but everyone has their limits and having her strip down in front of him while they're alone in her room would be... difficult. ]

It's- fine, I guess. Government issued housing, what could go wrong? [ He's not a fan. ] I haven't met them yet, but I haven't really made the effort either. Seems a waste if I'm not going to stick around for long.

Do you have plans to go somewhere else? [ She looks at him as she sits back down on the couch for a moment.] Because if you wanted to... I could maybe ask Ronan to make you a room here too. [ She makes a face.] Is that too weird?

Maybe a bit soon. [ The reply is careful. ] Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't mind living closer to you but I haven't even met these guys yet.

There's still a lot I have to figure out about this place.

[ Registration. How much he wants to live outside of the system. ]

[ She nods, keeping her mouth from twisting with nerves. It was probably too soon to virtually ask him to move into the same house as her. Of course, she can't help but wonder where he'll go if he's not planning on staying in the government housing and if that means he might get into trouble or hurt.

She nods, smoothing her hands over her legs twice before she speaks:] I understand. It's a lot to absorb.

[ Yes, registration. She plans on doing that soon.]
