This is the Wizard.
( The voice that speaks is heavily distorted, and the feed itself is untraceable. The figure that speaks is behind a stylised mask of an old man with a white beard, and black spaces where the eyes should be. It’s less happy grandfatherly wizard and doesn’t err to into comically hideous halloween mask wizard, but it is still unsettling. The figure appears to be sitting in total darkness, with only enough light to show the mask, made more severe by the heavy shadows carving across it. )
Late last year the Majority Report shared that there were anti-ImPort sentiments raising with the “Reclaim Heropa” movement. I have found information on those leading this movement. The value of this information being shared and the movement destabilised was pressed by Count Dooku.
Attached are the names of some of the leaders of the movement. They are grassroots, two hundred and fifty-three members at last count. The present threat they pose to ImPorts is low. I am not yet certain if they will remain low threat, or if the concerns were justified. Count Dooku’s recent confession does not mean the movement is not a cause for concern, but it does put his own fears for ImPorts in a different light.
I have attached some of the information I gathered regarding the leadership.
( Behind her mask, MK clenches and unclenches her jaw. Old dudes: seriously, always the worst. She isn’t particularly surprised, but she is angry. Was a clone to be made part of this man’s machinations, once again?
The pause lasts a second too long before she cuts the feed. )
RECLAIM/LEADERSHIP
ARKIN, Meghan.
DECHIMA CITY COUNCIL.
Was almost killed during July last year (2017) during a rising of the undead. States that she escaped only through the bravery and sacrifice of Patrolman Amir Parron. Concerned with his memory and legacy and those of others who have lost their lives to ImPort related disasters. Advocates higher standards of training and protective gear for all first responders.
DeChima has been a starting point or central sufferer of a number of different disasters believed to be brought about by ImPorts, willingly or otherwise.
BAKEWELL, Clancy.
Partner: BAKEWELL, BAKEWELL & SOMMERS law firm, Philadelphia.
Impaled by Impocreat horn in the attacks in Philadelphia, argues that the attacks would not have been possible if ImPorts had not been encouraged to keep Impocreats. His law firm is high profile and is now dedicated to seeking restitution for natives who have become victims of ImPort related disasters.
CARDEN, Dane.
Former military. Hero poster child for this movement.
Sustained permanent nerve damage protecting native citizens during ImPort dispute of May 2017. Believes ImPorts to be petty, self-absorbed and destructive. (May not be wrong.)
Advocates for greater limitations to be set on ImPorts and appeals for their influence in media and business to be curbed.
STEINGARTEN, Karen.
Steingarten does not appear to have been directly affected, but she has helped organise rallies and done a number of speeches detailing the story of how her nephew was trapped in what she calls a “twisted Neverland” while he was holidaying in Florida in January 2016. Alain Steingarten has not yet recovered from the psychological scars of what he did under the power of mind control, which included hunting others for sport.
VANDERGEEST, Angelica.
Was visiting DeChima hospital when the anachronistic mirages began to attack the cities. Fought off a velociraptor with “a handbag and great gusto.” Makes use of networking, contacting government and media.
( Finally: a brief video, presumably from security footage based on the video quality and angle, of a woman who appears to be in her sixties and very well dressed, indeed fighting off a velociraptor with a handbag and great gusto. Somehow oddly badass, and deeply surreal. )

permavoice.
Is that the most important thing you got from this?
also permavoice
so sorry for the slow reply!
No worries!

They have sympathisers, but they do not generally appear extreme in their beliefs. I am continuing to look into it.

Good work. Just 'cause they're not dangerous now, doesn't mean they won't be.
Oh, I'm Alex.

Time is an opportunity to become dangerous. ( Or to protect yourself. Or both. )
I am the Wizard.

So, you do magic?

Well it might as well be magic to me most times. Hey, can you make this stupid network ID thing go away? I don't really like flashing my whole name to people.
I can pay you, once I work up some scratch.

[Sorry, did you want someone to take this seriously? Because after a moment, Han's levity fades, and he huffs out a breath.]
Honestly, this "Reclaim Heropa" thing isn't much of a threat. Long as they don't start vandalizing houses or businesses, I don't see why they can't be left on the back burner.
permavideo. sorry for the slowness
it ok!
Yeah? And how do you plan on monitoring them? You gonna put security cameras on them, trackers, bugs? They're not doing anything right now, and far as I can tell they don't plan on pushing their agenda to a new level. [He shrugs.] Besides, it ain't like they don't have a reason for hating us.
Now, if it does become more dangerous, then fine, I'm all for shooting first before they can, but so far they haven't tried to kill me or anyone I know, so.

Does it only matter if you are personally threatened?
( It's not a criticism. She exists on a similar level, most of the time. )
no subject
No, but come on. What, you're gonna spy on 'em 'cause you think they might be up to something? [He scoffs at the idea.] You're the one investigating them. You tell me what they're up to besides "stirring anti-imPort sentiment", 'cause I'm telling you, kid, that part ain't news. Not everyone likes us.
no subject
However, small sentiment can become bigger. Extreme attitudes could lead to attacks. Being cautious early on could prevent things reaching that level of animosity. That is all.
I think they are right to be cautious, and fair to be scared. I think Dooku could have had ulterior motives in wishing them investigated. I suggest caution, only. I presented this information so people could consider what they would like to do.

[(And some watching.)]
Nothing wrong with a little patriotic rabble-rousing. Isn't that what this country was founded on?
permatext
Nothing wrong yet. Their concerns aren't misplaced. It could become a threat; that is why I presented the information, for those it might be of interest to.
Re: permatext
[A threat, huh. Yeah, to who?] It's possible. These folks sure aren't quiet about their beliefs, but engaging in peaceful discourse with opposite-minded folks is the cornerstone of democracy. Sure hope the interested parties have some good discussion points in mind.

Carden appears to be a great influencer within the movement. I would not be surprised if he wanted to pursue that course.

And they also have a law firm, so they can keep their actions clear, I assume.
no subject
I haven't found anything suspicious about the law firm. They seem clean.

Have you noticed any connection to Russia? Or to OTO?

I'll be keeping an eye on this...Could be a problem if they gain more traction.
