Hello! I received very much quality advice from my last Internet posting. Merci beaucoup. I seek more now.

My fathers and I are looking at different sorts of school and skills and, [an aristocratic little hem, because this is So Gauche, but] jobs. But there does seem so much to choose from. On advice of one of the local people, I tried to take an "online quiz," which was supposed to narrow it down. Instead the entire screen turned violently blue and there was a horrible screeching and the machine hasn't turned on since.

I would like to know how you all found your vocational calling. And the Universal Resource Locator of your preferred career match "quiz."

I think this world is deceptive. You're here long enough and you start to think this is your life. It's not. You'll go home, and the people you've met and the things you've done here... it's like they never happened.

It does help, but— [ She hesitates. ] I've been here nearly three years. I miss my kid and the rest of my family. I've got things I need to take care of back at home, and this is all becoming more like a prison than anything.

[ She sighs. It isn't fair to dump all this on some kid she barely knows, who's just recently arrived in this universe. ] Sorry. Forget it.
