i think about horses a lot

almost as much as i think about love and romance and dating boys

so when i needed to come up with an opinion poll for a school assignment, what better topic than horses, right, and then i saw this

so here's my opinion poll, should horses wear pants??? or are they beautiful enough just the way they are?

Thank you. If you really wish to make a horse beautiful, you should think about braided manes and tails and beautifully kept tack!

Oh, yeah! Braids don't do anything to make it harder for them to move, and they have to wear tack if you want to ride them, anyway. I was also thinking flower crowns.

Hmhm... that sounds very cute. My horse might have enjoyed eating a flower crown though, depending on the flower.

I had a horse at home! Moppel was, is I suppose, a bay gelding. He's got a forehead blaze. He's a good friend!

Oh, so he's not here... he sounds amazing, though. Wish I could meet him. It'd almost be like meeting a famous horse.

Meeting a famous horse? How so? I wish he was here too, and the horses we use at home are finer than any here from the sounds of it, [Hange did her research on this] but I'm not sure he'd be famous...

Well, we imPorts are pretty famous among the locals, so I'm sure any animal companions we have would get a lot of attention, too. Especially if they came from home with us.

Ahaha...! I bet Moppel would enjoy fame, if it came with lots of apples and sugar cubes.

I know I would be happy to provide those. And plenty of brushing and attention, if I was allowed to.

If Moppel ever arrives you certainly may. [tho hange would make sure she knew what she was doing regarding grooming and care. apples are easy.]

I appreciate it. I've loved horses ever since I was a baby, but have never had many chances to be around real ones.

Have you considered learning to ride here?

I have! I'm saving up to go to horse camp this summer. I went to one back home but it wasn't all that great.

Well, good! One ought to enjoy oneself here and learn many new things. I hope this attempt goes well for you.

Me, too. I'm determined to make it a good experience this time.

You wouldn't like to start on learning earlier?

I think it might help, now that you mention it. Reading and using my imagination isn't quite the same thing...

That would be awesome. I... keep meaning to look into that and haven't yet.

I believe I might already know someone. I'll ask him and let's go from there.
