[It's late evening. Obi-wan has gone missing again, though it feels different than last time? She has some things to confirm first however, as her sense in the Force is never that reliable here.]

It's either happening again or something is up. I was suppose to meet with Obi-wan this evening but he's not made it home yet. Trying to contact him gives me... nothing.

That leads me to ask those who care to give me their thoughts: How do you know if a person is just missing and in trouble compared to... returned home by the government?

When Hera was gone, I could no longer sense her in the Force.

[ There's a pause, as Kanan attempts to seek Obi-Wan in a similar way - and fails. ]

I think he's gone. He could come back, though.

Whatever the porter did to me, it's broken my senses in the Force. I couldn't feel him when he was murdered, I can't feel it now.

The government doesn't return people, the Porter does. You nay check the ID on the network. If it's unavailable, it means they were returned home, since the IDs are active for as long an imPort is here.

The porter, then. From how it was told to me, it's all about the same thing.

If the government controlled the Porter, most of us wouldn't be here. Many different IDs can be made, but they are only erased when we are gone. I'm glad I could help.

Where I'm from someone has to be gone for twenty-four hours before the "authorities" considering them missing. If it's been longer than that, I'd check in with the government to see if he's still here.

I do believe that rule might be in effect here as well. Unspoken or not. Which is why I was checking with the network first, on their thoughts. Someone else has given me some information to look into.

Apparently if they have been returned home their device is inactive. It seems to be connected to the nano tech, which is helpful, in a way.

If you are correct, and what is in the Force will indicate it is not a matter of violence on anyone's part, I feel Anakin will be all right, but I will certainly speak to him and make sure all is well.

I'm sorry, though. I know you had found comfort from being close to him again. [ Her own sense of loss she will not speak of, intends to keep hidden and closed. It had been good to see him again, to build back towards what they had had before. ]

[She's silent for a moment, just letting the other say all that. For a moment she looks as if she's not holding the smile or the calm look on her face too well.]

[She learned long ago not to gain attachments, but sadly after losing EVERYONE and then gaining them back here, it's a bit harder to say she wasn't attached.]

I'll be fine. I swear. I still have you and Anakin to keep an eye on after all. And Rex is here now. [She almost said it though. 'No attachments'. But she also knows that she doesn't follow that rule well, if at all anymore.] Kanan and Hera also. There are plenty of people still here. Obi-wan has important things to do back home anyhow.

Obi-Wan has always had the ability to find important things to be doing. I'm glad that remains true for him.

[ She'd never inquired too much after Obi-Wan's future. Obi-Wan himself didn't know it, yet. Ahsoka knew some, clearly. Luke had told her a few bits and pieces, enough that she knew there had been too much time spent alone in hiding.

That is not something she wishes to think on now. ]

You were never very good at speaking untruths, Ahsoka. I see that hasn't changed. It will not be fine.

But it will be something we can all live with, and we can hope for his return.

[What can he say? He feels heart-broken over the possibility of losing his Master. His true Master. But he also knows that he can't wallow. He has to reach out to others and realize they are suffering too.]
