voice.

[ Natasha sounds, well. Agitated is probably the best term for it. She's working her jaw, a bit, before she speaks, trying to find the right words to say without revealing too much but also not enough. ]

Out of curisosity, did anyone else get ambushed by a bunch of papparazzi near the theatre in Nonah? Apparently there was a movie premiere going on — one geared towards the stories and adventures of imPorts, and all of us were invited, whether or not we wanted to be.

[ She tsks, clearly one of the people who did not want to be invited and were anyway. ]

I have to say, if this is the welcome we're recieving here, I'm not sure how to take it. The spotlight isn't really my style.

[ She pauses, as if she's about to hang up — but thinks better of it at the last second. ] I give the movie two stars, by the way. Absolutely unrealistic, everyone knows there are no trees in the Midwest.

It's the nicest way I can put it.

[Because wow, was it all over the news. And the aftermath, too.]

It's nice to meet you too, Miss Romanoff. [When in doubt, be polite. Also, discreetly push away the box of Chinese takeaway you were eating because you're trying to make a good impression here, Nelson.] Sorry about the paparazzi, they show up in Nonah a lot. Maurtia Falls has a lot less paps, but it's not as imPort-friendly as the other cities.

[It's not too bad??]

Natasha, then. [It feels odd, saying her name like this, stripping the formality away, when the only times he's ever seen her have been on the news. But hell, Foggy's at least acquaintances with odd by now, and so he gamely rolls with the punches.] In Maurtia Falls? It's 'cause the locals don't exactly appreciate people coming in and poking around in their business. Especially the shadier type of business.

[He shrugs.] And a lot of the time, we as imPorts tend to—well, sometimes it's just poking. Other times we're like a wrecking ball through their business.

Not exactly. As far as I can tell, we're just supposed to register and answer the call when the government needs us, but it's a common practice not to register. The superhero thing is really up to you.
cigarbribery: that (stay thirsty like before; don't you know)

Yeah. [He shrugs.] I wasn't sure if they'd let unregistered imPorts take the bar exam, so I figured I'd play it safe and sign up.

What about you? Are you planning on registering or not?
