[it's been a handful of days since the nightmarish time loops started. when kavinsky appears in the video, he looks harried and gaunt; even the argyle sweater he's wearing is skewed. beside him, there's ronan who looks like he's actually, somehow, in a worse mood than usual. as per usual, it's kavinsky who ends up talking first:]

We made a Porter. A shitty-- knockoff Porter.

We've made it two fucking times, but it doesn't work right because we ain't fucking gods, I guess— [it's odd for kavinsky to swear, ever since his visit with dr. chilton's home for lost boys, but the veneer of american psycho is peeling off thanks to stress.] So we need your help. Magic or science, whatever you got. We need it, so if you can just--

[Ronan interrupts, impatiently:]

We're in Heropa. We're in position. All we need is the fucking energy to make something functional. It keeps redirecting the fucking missiles instead of porting them out, and as far as I can tell, it's because porting shit takes a fuckton of power. We don't need anything from you people except juice, so if you've got any kind of energy manipulation, talk to us.
