10. A girl and her horse [Video]
[There's some shuffling around when the feed clicks on; Tina sets her device upright on a crate before moving back and sitting cross-legged on the ground, so that most of her is visible. She's sitting in a field, with scattered hay and dry grass all around, holding a few horse cookies in one hand. She turns, offering them to something off-camera.]
Come on, Jake... don't be shy. I want everyone to meet you.
[Slowly, a small pony- with a piebald coat, to fit in with the Pi Day theme of the swearin she won him from- pokes his head into view, sniffing the cookies before ignoring them to affectionately lip Tina's hair instead. Tina giggles and leans against him. In response, the horse shakes his head a bit, knocking her glasses askew, suddenly interested in the treats. Tina does not care. She simply readjusts her glasses and watches him cronch on the cookies instead, an expression of pure, unadulterated joy on her face. A big thing, for someone who rarely makes huge displays of emotion.]
The past few months have been hard for me, but sometimes... sometimes life can be so good.

Is that horse small or are you larger than normal?

How's it going, so far?

Really well. He's not big enough for me to ride, but he's really sweet-tempered.
Re: video
That's okay... um, he'll probably get bigger, right? [Do horses evolve here??]

[As though he's aware he's being complimented, Jake whinnies softly and stomps a hoof.]

[Linda catches herself- look at her, her tiny Tina, so happy. So relaxed. Because of the large, fuzzy, money eating animal at her side that some adult just...gave to her. To have.
She swallows and manages an unnatural, nervous laugh. Why wasn't Bobby here for this?]
I mean- ha ha ha- of course not! That'd just be...crazy. Taking back a pony. From a little girl. That lives in a small house. So. Crazy.

But we've, ah, there's a horse in the house? Now?

You got a horse! [ wait. Someone actually gave Tina a horse, with possibly zero consequences. The gears in her brain are shifting, even if Tina looks so, so happy... ] When? How??
