It's fairly complicated and a holdover from something that happened in our world. I didn't know about it until recently however.

In short, it wasn't anything anyone here did, but he desperately needs help before they take over entirely.

We'll need all the help we can get. One offer is contingent on getting Newton to be himself long enough to agree. That's going to be difficult.

Oh, no. No, not me, I'm afraid. My husband is under the control of an alien hivemind. I don't know if healing would help, but it likely couldn't hurt if he would cooperate.
