So it seems I am not the only young adult import who wishes to become more involved in politics. It's refreshing to see others who are inclined to do more for the greater good of the people.
However, despite that, I fear it may be rather difficult for us to get involved.
To the ambassadors of the imPort community: Would you consider an internship program for those who wish to pursue a career in politics?
To the young adults who wish to be involved: What other forms of involvement would you suggest?

So, yeah. I'd consider it. That's actually not that bad an idea. [ An internship program. ] What is it you're hoping to do?

If I am honest? I am not sure. I work with the Nonah police force currently and I see the day to day. I want to do more to help the relations between the native population and our imPorts. I wasn't sure if I wanted to be a politician until recently.

But if you get yourself involved by attempting to organize or lead relief efforts during crisis, that is a good way to get out there, get your face recognized, and build up a good reputation before you get to the campaigning stage. Let people know your stances through your actions, rather than words.
Otherwise, it is mostly about meeting officials, being able to clearly and concisely communicate your ideas and having the motivation to follow projects through to the end.

I appreciate the advice. I mostly know some of the local native faces rather than the imPort community, which I intend to change going forward. It is not enough to simply do my job as detective, and I hope I can be someone people can rely on.

I would certainly be willing to consider such a program - I started my career in politics at a young age from something like that myself.
This world is very different, though, and would require different things from such a program. What is it you would like to find from one?

Personally I would enjoy learning more about the political process here. Being from Japan, the political system is significantly different despite having similar roots with democratic principles.
I have just registered for class in the fall with the hope of gaining further insight as well.

I understand that the worth could seem small, given the constant chance of being ported out, but I do believe it would be interesting to grant people that chance at least.
If you were willing to consider an internship in my office, I would be able to pay you a part time salary.
Re: video.
I would be honored, Ambassador, to work as an intern for you. I believe it will be a great learning experience for us both if you continue the program for future imPorts.
