Hi Network [she gives a little wave.] I've been looking around the interwebs here and I can't seem to find an imPort doctor, which seems like a big gap if one of us who's like an alien or something gets sick and the native doctors can't help. Are there any imPort doctors out there or is this not a problem?

[She'd quite like to make an appointment for a problem she's having but isn't going to say so on a network broadcast.]

Also, it's been three months now and my memories still haven't really returned, I've had a few flashes but nothing really concrete from my past and I'd really been hoping I'd remembe things by now. Does anyone know a good psychiatradoodle or maybe someone who reads minds who might be able to help me?

I would be more than willing to see you or any other imPort which seems to be struggling with things that native doctors may not be able to help with.

I'm definitely having a couple of problems which my native doctor doesn't know what to do about, in fact he threw me out last time I saw him.

He threw you out? How horrendous! Well, I don't have an office currently, but I'd be willing to see you in my home or in yours to try to assist you.

He got weirdly frightened after taking my pulse and asked me to leave so I don't really know what was going on there.

But yes that would be great, could you come to my place in Nonah? I don't have much spare cash if you charge a fee...?

Seeing as I'm not currently operating as a doctor, we'll just call this a consultation. I'll be over just as soon as I can!

He knocks on the door once he gets there, dressed all prim and proper with a pink suit and a little blue bowtie.]

[The door opens and Gemini gives her visitor a warm smile, gesturing for him to come in, reassured by his prim clothes despite the odd colour choices.]

[At the very least, he is clean-cut! Despite being somewhat obviously eccentric with the loud choice of colors.

He doesn't seem too terribly eccentric in personality yet though, just giving a polite bow of his head before coming in, medical bag in hand.]

Oh, it's not a problem at all! Now... I believe I read on the network your id was 'Gemini'. Is that the name you'd prefer?

[He has nice manners too, which gets him brownie points in Gemini's book.]

[She leads the way through the shared house to her rooms, opening the door onto a neat living room decorated in dark blue, gesturing for Itsuki to take a seat wherever he likes, the choice being between a couch and a comfy armchair.]

[He was used to going by Dr. Ozaki, but also a lot of people here just caleld him Itsuki, so. Either way didn't bother him.

As he enters the living room, Itsuki takes a seat on the couch, setting his bag down and simply waiting for Gemini to find a place to sit.]

Well, I'm going to be taking your vitals as well, though I won't be ushering you out, or rushing out myself no matter the oddity. I understand that imPort bodies can be rather strange!

[Gemini waits for Itsuki to get settled before joining him at the other end of the couch, listening carefully as the doctor explains what he was going to start with.]

Ok, would you like me to roll up my sleeve, or lie down while you hook something up?

[She's been watching too many medical dramas.]

There are plenty of imPort doctors...it's just that most of us aren't THAT kind of doctor.

What do you mean THAT kind of doctor?

Ok, look. People can have a doctorate for any number of things. Education. Fine Arts. Engineering. Etc and so on. You know. Not all PhDs are THAT kind of Doctor...the kind you're looking for. An M.D. But we can all call ourselves Doctors. I'm a doctor.

Most of the highly educated around here seem to be doctors of engineering or similar: there's a lot of physicists, lots of guys who invent. God help us. We're in the hands of engineers.

She remembers this guy now from that weird encounter at the nightclub and her eyes narrow a little bit. Is he stalking her? That's very suspicious of her but she can't help but feel there's something shifty about the man, perhaps she should report him to someone? No, on second thought that was probably a little too much, but this time she would get his name at least. Trying to keep the suspicion out of her voice, she added patiently.

I'm a healer but not a doctor. That's an important distinction, I think? Since I don't know shit about shit but I can fix a lot of stuff. I'm working a lot of it out on the go, though.

Um. Are you an alien or something that's sick?

I'm not an alien no, I didn't mean to make it sound like I was, I was just thinking about the provision of medical care for imPorts generally, if you're a healer then that could be a great help to the community.

My name is Bruce Banner. I'm both an import and a doctor. I haven't been practicing much since arriving, but I know a place where I can, if needed.

I do housecalls and incalls at a clinic who welcomes doctors.

It might have something to do with my powers I'm not sure. I guess you could say I'm having problems feeling things, physically I mean.

I don't think it was the Porter that did this to me, the staff said I seemed to know who I was when I came through, it was later that I was found in the alley without my memories.

[There's a niggling worry at the back of her mind that he might be right, given some of the flashes of anger and blurs of memory she's started to feel, but she keeps that to herself.]

It's ok, besides I got hit by a truck the other day and it didn't hurt, so you don't need to worry for me.

I know that, but it happened and I'm not any the worse for wear so logically that means there's no need to worry!? It's sweet that you're concerned for me though.
