[Lance, the king of posting in video, is not doing that today. For reasons. He definitely doesn't sound like his chipper self, that's for sure.]
It never stops getting weird, coming home and expecting people you know to be there--even if they've been Ported or never showed here in the first place. Really...hits hard in the homesickness sometimes.
[There's a pause, a heavy sigh.]
For anyone that knew him, Keith's been Ported out. Figured it's easier to just put it out there now that it's been a few days.
[He really doesn't know what more he should say. If there is more to say. He's seen plenty of posts like his, and one's asking about missing friends, but he's never really made one. There's a stretch of silence before he just...cuts the feed.]

... this is... hard to process. Even given the circumstances, the idea that he could disappear to quickly...

[He looks about as despondent as he sounds. It's always hard when people from home go back--makes everything a little more lonely no matter who's left behind.]
He's back home, for now...whatever that'll mean.

[That's not trying to be dismissive, she knows that apology was out of sympathy rather than guilt. But at the same time, she knows this is hard on the both of them, and he shouldn't have to apologize for... the Porter? For fate? Who DO you blame for something like this?]
It should mean that he's going back to the point he left, doesn't it? If I've understood this correctly.

It's just...last time we left, we came back and Keith had--[A deep breath, a sullen frown.] He attempted a suicide run against that Galran ship. I punched him when we ended up here again. I don't know what he's going to go through back home. And that's what really gets me whenever someone we know leaves.

But if anyone is capable of pulling through when things get out of hand, it's a reckless idiot like him. He's going to be all right. I'm sure of it.

That's never easy to deal with, here or back home. I sympathize with your loss. I hope he is going back to a good place.
