Are there any talented painters available for commission? Or alternatively, if anyone has recommendations for native talent, that would work just as well. I'm looking for photorealism in particular.

It would be wonderful if it could be done within about two weeks, but it's not absolutely vital. It's meant to be a gift.

Oh... my friend Yusuke's an artist! You should ask him. He did a really nice portrait for my boyfriend.

[And Blue posts a photo, a vibrant and detailed portrait of Red's Pokémon, photorealistic but with enough whimsy in its strokes and colors to convey emotion.]

It's pretty great, if you ask me! But I don't know the first thing about art...

I'm interested in seeing a few styles if at all possible.

My husband is experiencing some memory problems, and our engagement anniversary is on the 11th of this month, so I thought a painting of a happy moment during our honeymoon might help a bit.
