Having been here for over two years now, I have to say... I'm *still* wondering why being an imPort is like taking a joyride in a Porsche that we end up crashing and totaling — without having car insurance.

Anyone else have any insights to this?

I wish I could help, but I'm only good at riding scooters at this point and don't have a full driving license yet.

that one doesn't make much sense, true. where i come from, the worst kinds of people typically have friends in high (low) places and get off completely free for their crimes, which...also defeats the purpose.

Yeah. Part and parcel to imPort Land. I guess it's a trade-off.

I think my roommate may be gone, as well. Not that it's nearly as bad as the first time that happened. I've got space, though, if you need more unfamiliar territory. I know home can suck when the right people aren't there.
