[Flame Princess has been debating whether or not to post something like this for most of today... and some of yesterday evening, too, honestly. It's embarrassing, but she's not getting any closer to figuring this out on her own. Mostly, that just lead to being frustrated and more than a little bit confused. Besides, it won't be that weird as long as she doesn't actually name anyone. ... Probably

At any rate, she makes sure to use text this time, rather than the usual video. She'd prefer to not have everyone see just how brightly she's been burning.]

does anybody know how you're supposed to know if you like someone????? But I mean LIKE like someone. Not just knowing if you like somebody as a friend that stuff is way easier to figure out.

[So he's spent time looking at this post and he's found himself with only one thing to say.]

[For that matter, who is this BOY, he's not the type to follow and stalk conversations but this- post has particularly bugged him. He really cares about Flame Princess after all, so to think of her possibly being interested in someone he doesn't know-

bothers him.]

I've known him since i came here the first time! He's been a really great friend and he's always looked out for me!

[SHE HAS NO IDEA WHAT SHE'S DOING.]

[Wow okay, he- doesn't realize at all. He's really not used to liking people much, or having anyone like him. Knowing OR thinking someone does. I mean, who WOULD like Ira Gamagori? Especially considering his reputation back home. Not to mention all that being compared to looking like an old guy.]

Hmph-- [A breath, crossing his arms and going quiet for a moment. Settling down- a little. But mostly because he wants to trust her- does trust her. While she says he's looked out for her and helped her, he always ended up feeling the same way back. Flame Princess was so strong to him, and anyone that knew who they were, dealt with it, and liked it as it was someone he couldn't help but look up to...]

[So she says that, and- she's probably right. He's probably a good person. But he still dislikes it. Feels anxious.]

I'm merely concerned for your well being, Princess. [Another huff, chest and arm muscles tight as he keeps them crossed infront of him.]

[Ugh he- feels like he wants to say more, but what can he even say? Concerned because he's worried about her? Because she's probably better than him? Because he doesn't like it?]

[A third huff. This time through his nose, there's this kind of- whine sound through the audio, which is just his uniform being stretched a bit from how bulky his is in this stressed and flexed seating position.]

[Well, Flame Princess doesn't really know his reputation back home. And even if she did, she'd still like him because he's still a decent person. Besides, she likes how he looks.]

I know you are and it's really nice of you. You're a really good friend!!

[And... she won't say or write anything for a little while.

Flame Princess likes Gamagori and he's talking to her and he's a really great guy and friend and she likes being around him! And just... likes him period. Though figuring out a good way to get that across is hard. Well, maybe not. She could just say something.]

[Yeah! Why couldn't she just say something? According to everyone she already talked to, it shouldn't be that bad. What's the worst that could happen?]

[... him not liking her back and not wanting to be her friend anymore that's the worst that could happen.

But! He wouldn't do that. Or she's pretty sure she knows him well enough to be positive he wouldn't do that. So the worst that could happen is that Gamagori doesn't like her the same way she likes him and things are maybe a bit weird for a little while.

Okay, that's not so bad.]

[Okay, this shouldn't be so hard. Besides, not saying anything at this point would be like lying, and... she really doesn't want to lie. Especially not to Gamagori, and especially not about something like this.]

[DEEP BREATH.

The video feed comes on and Flame Princess is blushing and burning... very, very brightly. She'll probably regret doing this on her public post later.]

Gamagori you're an awesome guy and really great friend and I always feel happy when we talk and hang out together and I just like being around you because you're super cool and I like you a lot I mean like you like you and maybe do you want to start going out together?

[Smooth.]

[Suddenly video, okay. He's too surprised at first to switch from audio and is just caught staring a little slack jawed. Alright so he's- still getting used the to amount of glow coming off Flame Princess and what it means emotionally. But that much is- nearing pissed off or- something else. Seeing her blush is what gets his throat tightening up though, keeps him quiet as he starts to talk.]

[...]

[Mouth open.]

[Closed.]

Mm... [A click, most likely from his jaw clenching more and his tongue backing up against his teeth. Okay. No- honestly a complete surprise because he's- really not used to this at all, relationships or anything close wasn't something he had experience with. Sure he's- had interest in people before but it's never gone anywhere. No one's ever confessed to him. Looking at his child hood it really- wouldn't happen, not with how he was treated as a kid. Though then again, he doubts this is very common for her either, consider her issues with her father.]

[Again proving to be a strong and confident girl, even if she was shy about this- even if he feels little like his reply to this message almost forced her into relenting this information!]

[Another swallow.]

I'm- sorry.

[Wait that sounds like he's turning her down.]

Yes I- [A deep breath. He's not about to have his pride be further shamed by staying on audio while she has the guts enough to be on video! He flicks it on, revealing a very hunched over, very bright faced version of himself. In his Goku Uniform and how does that thing not bust with how wide he is hunched and nervous like that?]

I would enjoy that, Flame Princess. [Still-]

[A swallow, lines adjusting in his cheeks.]

Was it necessary to undergo such a personal moment on- the open network? [You're killing him here.]

[... Oh. Right.]

Sorry! [She's very happy about his response, but. That wasn't the best idea.] ... Maybe we can talk about this more somewhere else? [In person, perhaps, and not over the network. Any attempt she could make at encrypting the rest of their conversation would be pitiful, anyway.]

Yes- that would be for the best. [Deep breath.]

I will come pick you up momentarily. [Already standing up.]

Right! Okay, I'll see you soon. [And she'll turn off her feed to quickly get ready.

Flame Princess is waiting outside when Gamagori arrives, carefully dressed in foil like she usually is, these days. She is smiling a little bit, though. Even if the circumstances leading up to it were embarrassing and... definitely not on the best platform. But he didn't reject her! In fact, he said he'd enjoy going out with her! So, that's something to be happy about, at least.]

[He'll drive up of course, his pink Cadillac as gaudy and well maintained as ever despite his driving tendencies.]

[It's difficult to look at her when he sees her smiling like that and as soon as he's in park he's glancing to the side, his eyes unsure about looking up, or down, and his face going red. Maybe in person is- more difficult- still, he feels like it's more respectful and sincere to do it face to face. And there's probably some things they should talk about just in case... Considering his past and his still lacking knowledge of hers.]

Hello Princess. [Said as he finally moves to get out and will go to open the door for her. Facing her now- it's difficult not to smile, and he finally does, pulling in a deep and steadying breath.]

[There are definitely things they should talk about. Not just in regards to their lives before they met one another, but also exactly how this - relationship? Yes, relationship - is going to work. She already knows a decent amount about what they can and can't do, thanks to her time with Finn, but it's still something worth discussing.

She takes a deep breath before heading over to Gamagori and his car, still smiling.]

Hi Gamagori. [Should she hold his hand? She kind of wants to, but she still needs to get inside of the car, and he'll be going back to driving in a few moments, anyway. So any hand-holding can probably wait for later. She steps inside the car, sits down, and... can't really think of anything to say right now.

Though, it's a bit hard to think of something to talk about right after confessing that she likes Gamagori. And any more talk about that should probably wait until they're in his apartment, too.]

[Like, the hand holding and kissing and any touching what so ever, yes that might be something worthy of discussing. Though honestly he isn't worrying about that at all, infact, he hasn't even thought about it. Flame Princess would actually be rather used to burning him here and there, and oddly enough Gamagori barely ever flinched let alone complained.]

[With that he'll shut her door and move to his driver's seat. Another door movements, seatbelt, and rev later, they're moving but, they won't be heading to his apartment or towards it. Instead he just- drives, and will head a little out of city. Stays- quiet too, hopefully Flame Princess won't be too nervous about the silence because Gamagori is actually-

really calm.]

[The drive is helping, calms his nerves, likes the scenery too, bright, still day light. He's always worried about the wind hitting her too hard but is unsure if it'd be good because wind tends to just feed fire, or bad because what if it hurts her? Either way, thankfully isn't going too fast and will adjust should she say anything about it.]

[Ten minutes out and he'll finally say something if she hasn't yet herself. He was calm but, he did have to work up to saying something a little. After all it's- a big thing for him and his ego does still feel a little bruised from her asking him first.]

I'm very happy you told me, Princess. [A sigh, both hands tight on the steering wheel, looking forward with that unnecessary ever intense furrowed brow frown.] But perhaps there are some things to discuss- not that I am suggesting we rethink think.

Just that we are better prepared. [He wouldn't be so serious were this at home, were it with someone who knew about what happened, what he was, did... But he respects Flame Princess and knows she values honesty.]

[Flame Princess doesn't mind the drive, honestly. It's calming, but in a different way than it is for Gamagori. The wind feeds her fire and it feels... nice. Soothing. And that's why it's easier to relax and not worry about the silence between them. It doesn't feel awkward, not really. It just sort of is. They're both silent, but the drive so far is pleasant. Flame Princess doesn't feel a need to fill the silence with whatever thoughts go through her head - she's comfortable like this. And it seems like Gamagori is, too.

She looks over at him once he speaks up, though. She almost begins to worry when he mentions needing to discuss things, but those feelings don't last long, as he quickly makes it clear what he means.

She nods, and glances back at the road ahead.]

Yeah, we probably should. I guess we both have some stuff to say to each other. [At this point, she isn't just thinking of the issues that would come with physical contact, either.]

[A nod, going quiet again as he pushes on, going a bit further till he can find a nice place to park. It'll end up being on a side street by a residential area, nice, not a lot of traffic and despite the trees there's a nice sky view.]

[He parks.]

[Sighs.]

[And rests a hand on the door of the car, window down.]

You have enjoyed my company for my morals and honesty, but things were different for me as well as the other Devas before we arrived here. [Closing his eyes, nodding his head a little.]

He dedicated ourselves to a goal and to roles necessary to change things, and because of it I've done things most would not be proud of. [He won't say he isn't proud of it though. He's proud of all he has done with Honnouji, the Devas, Satsuki. But killing people for that goal? Maiming, torturing? It definitely isn't something people usually are proud of.]

[Because the couple wants some privacy, and Inumuta has the technological ability to give them that. You're welcome, bros.]
