[Perry was not enjoying today. Waking up in a weird new body and in a weird not!Earth with no known way to get back just annoys him a lot
So what better way to deal with this by venting on this weird device they gave him?]
You know what I miss? Asking questions.
I would have agreed to this thing with maybe one or two conditions if they had asked me in the first place, but nope, they decided it would be a fun idea to just kidnap me away from my home for their own purposes.
I mean yes, I will thwart whatever bad guys they want me to, but that doesn't mean that they don't need to bother asking if I would want too. This whole situation is just rude and getting a place to stay and another job will not make this any better if you ask me.
[He... might not be entirely aware that this is being publicly broadcasted right now.]

[ Is she reading that ID right? Platypus? ]

By any chance did they hand you a pamphlet?
text
They did, actually.
I would have read it by now but this was kind of a knee-jerk reaction and I didn't exactly expect what I wrote to become public.
I should probably go read that.
text
I would recommend reading it, though; it's got info you'll want to know.
text
[There is a noticable pause between texts as he reads it over.]
Well I guess I should blame that Porter instead of the government at least. A shame that we can't go and see what it wants from us though.
[Perry I don't think that's what you should have gotten out of that brochure.]
text
It doesn't help that a couple of imPorts broke into the Porter lab a while back either.
text
There goes my chance to try to convince anyone to at least let me check it out, huh?
text
It doesn't matter what kind of knowledge you might possess. It's too risky, I take it.
text
[But oh well, he's not a top agent here so sitting here and whining won't solve anything.]
I hope they don't try to keep it a secret from us if they do find out what this Porter wants from us, if they ever find out.
text
If they ever find out. Unlike Lachesis (who didn't talk all that much anyway), this Porter is pretty quiet.
text 1/2
[Perry don't talk like you actually have regular experience with this.
He's about to continue but he suddenly realizes that this thing has his biological name on it.]
text | id reads "Agent P"
I'm an agent who specializes in preventing villains from committing evil acts. Top in my field.
text
A secret agent?
text
[Read: Yeah that's exactly what he is.]
text
[ Teasing? A little. Who is this guy? ]
text
text
Did you deal with domestic or foreign threats?
text
In the end though he decide that it's not like Major Monogram will just pop up and tell him he's fired just for sharing something as inconsequential as this.]
Mostly domestic, although I deal with foreign threat if I'm called for it.
text
Did they set you up with something similar here?
text
I wouldn't say it's a glamorous job though.
text
[ Being a hero is not always a fun job. It gets messy and painful. ]

Got back about a week ago from a vacation in Hawaii. Nice to see it's remain unchanged in a different universe.
text
That does sound nice though. Are they paid vacations?
