[Hello, Citizens of Heropa. Hope you're enjoying yourselves on this fine day! Because Metalhawk sure isn't. In fact, he was doing the same as you, performing everyday routine in his apartment and getting ready to go to work...and that's when it all went wrong. The feed opens up to show...a little minor structure damage--a broken window and door at most, both of which now have a giant metal wing through them. Sitting in the center is a giant robot, at least 27 feet in height now curled into as tight of a ball as he can, to avoid further destruction.

And boy, does he not look happy.

Looks like you finally got your third (and original) power working, Metalhawk!]

I can't say this is very ideal.

[There's an annoyed sigh, wiggling his wings slightly to try and get them out of the doorway/window.]

Would anyone be free to assist me? If I can just get outside...

[Yeah, that's not happening. You're huge, Metalhawk.

He's so sorry, roomies.]

[ It is a big hand, but Mitch only blinks at it, before stepping in. He steps around any messes, but it's only after a moment that he actually looks at Metalhawk with green eyes and a face that's half-glowing, just from sensory overload.

He can hear him, after all, and it's like being in a crowded subway, pressed in with people all screaming at the top of their lungs. ]

Giant robot, right. Hey, so are you trying to get back to normal, or...

[He shuffles himself around, which to be honest, doesn't do much for the insides, but he doesn't want to be moving in on Mitchell's personal space. Primus knows he's not got much to start with.]

That would be preferable...if only until I get outside.

[ He can hear the groaning machinery, in that all too odd, mechanical song that filters into his ears. Signal converted into a language and sound only he can hear. ]

Alright, let me see...

[ He hated using his powers, the look on his face said it all, the slight wince. The last time he'd tried this on a robot, he'd been threatened -- and that had been in self-defense. ]

LET'S GO BACK TO NORMAL.

[A part of him is apprehensive, by the way Mitchell is speaking. His plating shifts up a bit in instinct, although he's doing his best to calm it. The human wouldn't intend harm on him--he had to put faith in that.]

I'm ready when you are.

[And not a moment too soon. Looks like he's going to be changing back whether he likes it or not. And it's one of the most uncomfortable things he's had to experience.]

Ngh!

[ He blinked, and looked away, when he started to look a little less like a robot, and he covered his eyes.

He can't believe that worked, honestly. He'd been expecting the machine to protest, or maybe the system to not know what to do. But yet, it'd done the job? Maybe? ]

You okay? Did that work?

[ He asked, still holding a hand over his eyes. ]

[A hand reaches out, to pat him on the shoulder. A nice, thankfully human sized hand.]

It got the process started, at least. I think I figured out the rest.

...Now tell me, is your power really to control mechanical things like that?

Oh good.

[ He still kept a hand over his face, but it gravitated more toward the bridge of his nose, to pinch at it, and hold there.

He didn't like talking about his powers. ]

I, ah, talk to machines.

[Yeah, that's an awkward thing that Metalhawk hopes doesn't have to be repeated. But here...it helped!]

Guess that would explain why my body moved on its own...The mechanical parts, anyway.

[ He doesn't like advertising it for that reason -- controlling people's bodies? He's known what that looks like.

He's felt that pull.

It's sickening. ]

Yeah, sorry. I -- Probably should have given you better warning. It's not something I like to advertise, for good reason. I'm pretty sure some people would be pretty pissed off.

It's...it's alright. It helped me, after all.

[He just wants some warning and/or never doing that again.]

I suppose I have some damages to pay for.

Yeah, well, normally I only use it if someone's about to kill me.

[ Don't worry, Metalhawk. He's going to avoid it, if he can. ]

But, ah, you were pretty big, weren't you? How'd you even get in here?

Well, I started out as my human form and...

I guess something triggered the transformation. It is one of my apparent 'powers'.

Well, at least that one turns you into a giant robot. It could be a hell of a lot worse, right?

That's at least a little useful.
