003, video.
Listen up, eyes forward. ( which may or may not be easy to do, considering the sheer amount of guns in the background. they range all sizes, all shapes. whatever kind of gun you can think of, it's definitely there. she's even leaning against a glass case that is also full of guns. )
Carl's gone, so I'm stuck running his stupid store. ( she says like it's an inconvenience, even though she does enjoy it most of the time. ) Stock isn't a problem, obviously, and I'm the most qualified to solicit weapons advice, but now it's just me and I occasionally have better shit to do.
( not necessarily true. she just hates to admit why she's bothering to appear on the network again. she hesitates a bit, because she's a stubborn asshole. )
If anyone's willing to enlist their services around here, let me know — doesn't matter whether you like guns or more medieval armaments. I just need someone to crunch the numbers and all that shit, be here when I'm not. I pay cash or I can conjure you as many custom weapons as you want.
( speaking of, she turns the camera to the other side of the store, which now sports a plethora of medieval weaponry: spears, swords, daggers, the occasional mace and ax. it's whatever clarisse has felt like conjuring and then didn't want to keep. )
This is just a small selection of the shit I can make. ( the camera turns back to clarisse. ) Hell, I'll fight your fucking battles for you as long as you agree to watch the store. Any takers, you know how to reach me.

Oswald puts on his best smile.]
I'm very good with numbers.

Good. Keep up that enthusiasm and you might have yourself a job. You have any interest in guns or just numbers?

You could pay me in weapons. Hell, I think I might pay you just to be around that many weapons. Is that a Gottschalk rifle?
video
It is a Gottschalk. ( she smirks. ) You can have it in exchange for 40 hours and standard benefits.

You said you knew Carl. I lived with him. [ Though not for very long. ] Did you- did you want anything? From him.
[ He doesn't know what's there, but there must be something in the house. He didn't really know the guy well, but he feels obligated. ]
voice
Uh.
( she's not great with sentimentality. she hates to admit she even liked the guy, let alone kinda misses him. he was like a brother, an honorary ares kid. they got along, which is more than she can say for a lot of people. she doesn't have a lot of folks she considers friends around here, and now one of them is gone. whatever. )
What kinda shit did he leave?
voice
There's also the issue that it would be pretty difficult to figure out what exactly Carl left behind right now. He really hopes she doesn't need specifics. ]
I...am not sure. I did not know him well.

( ... )
Or, I don't know, I can swing by and look myself. He might still have spare keys to the shop lying around.
( you know, so she wouldn't have to get new ones made. that's totally the only reason. )

This world's military is nowhere near what mine back home was. Not to mention the fact that I've been ported in and out so much that my service here doesn't exactly have the best track record.
So...Former.

[Despite the complaint, she's clearly impressed and intrigued by the arsenal, by the store apparently run by teenagers.]
Not looking for another job at the moment, but do I see a .45 [Colt] Defender back there?
[She hasn't tried to copy her old one with her power, not entirely trusting this weird superpower with a weapon, but she's been wanting a new one since arriving here without it.]
no subject
Sure do. Make me a decent offer, it's yours.

[She names a slightly below decent price, in a lazy attempt to haggle but a tone that sounds like she thinks it'll be accepted.]
