[The face that appears on the network is that of an anxious teenager. What stands out - aside from the unruly dark hair and wide, nervous-looking dark eyes - is that his nose has a bandage and tape over it, indicating some sort of injury. An unfamiliar face as he's only just arrived. He's found his assigned room and now is checking out the network. At least, for him, that is a familiar sort of technology.]

Uhh...

Hey. I just got here and... I guess this happens all the time?

If this is a dream, I'm not waking up. But it's a really weird dream.

Oh, uh, I'm Peter. Hey, hi.

I guess that's all for now. I'll just... check things out...

[He looks awkward then stops the video.]

[He's automatically assuming these children and grandson are young kids.]

He's full grown. I think he's older than I am, actually. [He chuckles and shrugs.] My kids too.

That's ... wow.

I don't know what I'd do if that happened.

I suspect you would find a way to accept them. I was ready to be a father before I came here.

Twenty-three. Since I have been in the cities for awhile - except for the small break - I guess I'm twenty-four now.

If the Port deems it necessary. I would say most people live here for far less time.

[He's not sure if that's more reassuring - or less.]

[He lets out a breath, shakes his head, going silent.]

I'm sorry. [He can tell this kid has a past that weighs heavily upon him.] Don't worry about it yet. The cities aren't so bad most of the time.

I don't know if I can go out... They said I had a part time job but... I don't know if I can do it.

[He doesn't really want to leave his room right now.]

What's scaring you most? Let's try to conquer it. [Anakin is bad about not laying low. He's more the type that throws himself into the void.]

[He shakes his head again.]

I don't know. It just... just ... maybe feels more real if I go out there.

It is real. You can't hide from it. Even in your bedroom, it's real. The walls, the floor... [He might not be helping as much he would like.] I'm strong and if you want a friend to explore the city with you, I'm free.

Think about it. My offer won't expire.

Um. Sure. I guess. If you have time.

[He's not going anywhere else so will be waiting when Anakin arrives.]

[He thinks about changing his clothes. It's probably for the best - his robes smell like Mustafar. He finds some suitable replacements and changes into them, strapping his lightsaber to his waist. Then he makes his way next door, knocking lightly so as to not startle the poor kid further.]

[Peter is wearing a basic grey hoodie, beige t-shirt and jeans. He looks a bit nervous when he answers, glancing down as if not wanting to make too much eye contact but offering Anakin a small smile of greeting.]
