So, I'm told it's customary to introduce ourselves after porting in.
[Clark adjusts his glasses and smiles into the camera, only a little discomfited by being on the feed. (At least, it only shows a little.)]
I'm Clark Kent. Different from the guy I heard used to live here—same name, no relation. Sorry I wasn't able to meet more of you in person at the swear-in, but I gave it a pass since lunar travel made me a little nervous. I don't even like planes. Might have been for the best, all things considered.
[He chuckles, slightly more at ease now.]
I've already gotten answers to most of the hundreds of questions I'm sure we all had upon arriving here, but I have to ask—does anyone else have a ridiculous power? Because I can summon a typewriter from nothing. And that's all.
[That is, of course, a lie.]
I'd love to hear some of your stories.
[ooc note: this Clark Kent is a human with powers, not a Kryptonian, and while he bears a superficial resemblance to DC's 'standard' Clark in a strong-jaw-and-glasses kind of way, it's nowhere close to identical, for those who knew him.]
