[ A face some might have familiarized themselves with by now, but for most, here's a brand new imPort on the Network. Sabrina doesn't look as visibly exhausted or stressed as she did weeks ago when she first arrived, appearing chipper enough in the feed that one could assume she's settling in well.
(She's not there, no.)
She adjusts the black headband so that she keeps locks of her blond hair tucked behind her ears and away from her eyes and face. In her hand, she has a notebook and a pencil. For anyone paying attention, somewhere in the corner a slick black tail can be spotted. There's definitely a soft mew before Sabrina speaks. ]
I suppose I should get into the habit of using this communicator. It's definitely handy, but... [ Her lips press together. ] Hi, I'm Sabrina. I ported in here a few weeks ago and even though the soldiers gave me some sort of introductory pamphlet I have to say it would have been nice if they had given a warning that Swear-Ins apparently have a tendency to go south.
Honestly, I can't believe those events are still sponsored since most people I've met so far have told me this is normal.
[ She showcases her notepad, setting it down on the empty dinner table of her house. ]
So, because so many imPorts have been here long enough, I'm going to ask what sort of things a newcomer's got to be prepared for. Moon base takeovers? Apocalyptic floods? Zombies? I'd rather not be caught off guard, if I can.
( ooc: please fill this form out, re: spoilers! thank you. )

[ Gods, it'll be two years this spring. That's... kind of scary to think about, but this is also the most stable domestic environment he's ever lived in. It's hard to say which is scarier. ]

[ She moves toward the cupboard to grab some mugs and get them ready. ]
So, are you and Magnus from the same place?
no subject
Y-yeah! We're coworkers and very very good friends! There used to be more of us here, but Taako, Merle and The Director went home a few months ago.
no subject
I'm sorry about that.
[ But wait, back up a little. ]
Did you say you're coworkers?
no subject
Oh! Yes, back home. We work at the same place.
[ He says it matter-of-factly, as if there's nothing weird about a small boy working alongside a grown-ass man. ]

[ Because it seems everybody else has been on her for being a teenager when this kid here is doing whatever apparently! ]
no subject
[ Oh boy, this is gonna sound absolutely bonkers isn't it? ]
... Sssssort of a secret society on the moon? The second moon? It's not actually a moon, it's a secret base, but everybody thinks it's just the second moon.
no subject
[ Bonkers is definitely a word for it. ]

[ Sabrina didn't think her housemates could grow more intriguing, but Angus has properly seized her attention now. ]

Um... there are seven of them, they each tie into the different schools of magic. So far there's been Evocation, Illusion, Conjuration, Transmutation, Divination... we still have to get Necromancy and Abjuration.
no subject
... that sounds like a lot to cover. You've studied all of these...?
no subject
[ A pause. ]
Well, yes, it's good to know what each of the schools entail [ And Angus has studied up on them anyway, because he's a big nerd ], but mostly looking for relics just involves waiting for something on the surface to explode or go horribly wrong, and then going "I bet that's where the next one is."
What about you? What's your home like?
no subject
... mine? Oh, definitely not as exciting as yours from what it sounds like.

[ He kinda kicks his legs back and forth against the counter, the very picture of genuine earnestness. ]
Do you have magic? Or cars? Those are fun, I hadn't been in one until I got here.
no subject
We have cars, but nothing as fancy as the ones here. My town's pretty small. I mostly walk around to get anywhere if I need to.
no subject
The ones here fly! We have Battlewagons back home, but those are much different, they're covered in spikes and weaponry, and they're usually more the size of tanks.
[ He cups his mug in his hands and casts Prestidigitate, an easy cantrip that sparkles around his fingers and warms up the tea some more, until steam is curling up from the drink. ]
