[ The video feed opens up to see a young boy with spiky brown hair, who very much might resemble certain other imPort, albeit this one's a bit younger. It takes a moment for him to realize his communicator's recording, but soon enough he smiles brightly. ]

Hey guys! I'm Sora. Not... the bigger Sora, if you know him. I'm another version of him. Nice to meet everyone! So, uh... what are we supposed to do here?

[ Yes, he did indeed receive the brochure. Did he read the entire thing? He made an effort before getting bored. This is too complicated for him. It's difficult without Mickey around to give him advice. At least, it sounds like he read part of the file folder they gave him. ]

I know I've got some new powers, a new school, and a job now. I've never worked a job before. Then I've got a new home back in Nonah. Makes me feel all... [ A pause, while he tries to think of the word. Wait for it. ] Metropolitan? Yeah, that's it. I don't understand it all, but it sounds like fun!

[ Folding his arms behind his head, he leans back and sort of spins side-to-side in an office chair. Wherever he is, it doesn't look like he's in his assigned housing right now. It looks like some computer lab in Heropa's public school. Data-Sora here is the school's new tech guy. Hi. Work's not so busy right now and he's bored. ]

Oh yeah! [ He sits up suddenly, pressing his face close to the screen. ] By the way, other me? Are you listening to this? I know you're out there somewhere.

Come on... what's with that look, Riku? Don't tell me you think I'm one of the bad guys.

[ Whoever those "bad guys" may be. Asides from the hidden truths, he's mostly out of the loop with whatever's going on in the outside world. Organization who...?

He places a hand on his chest, recalling the moment when Data-Naminé had let the feelings from the painful memories flow into his heart. ]

Mickey and I felt the memories locked deep inside Sora's heart. Memories that don't belong to Sora. People are hurting... and they need his help. Mickey's told you about that, right?

Well, are you? It wouldn't be the first time the Organization made a copy of one of us.

[And with them being after Sora, the data child will find that Riku's trust is not quite that easily won.

He frowns faintly those next words though – having been in Sora's Heart, he knows the people that are being talked about… or some of them anyway. Roxas, Roxas' twin and the girl with Kairi's face… right? Those have to be the memories that don't belong to Sora at least.]

Mickey was very vague in his letter. How come you were working with him?

[ ...what. "Organization" just flies over his head. He scrunches his face up a moment. ]

The Organization? I swear I haven't joined any supervillain groups.

[ Riku should know Sora better than that, which is what he'd like to say. But this real Riku is suspicious of him. Just another example of hurt. Though it stings, he's going to try to deal with it. The best he can do is explain himself and clear things up. It might be a little difficult in his case since he's not very technologically savvy... ]

There was a message in the journal... Jiminy's Journal? [ Who's Jiminy, again? He still has a lot of memories missing from a reset and it's frustrating. ] "Their hurting will be mended when you return to end it." Mickey asked for my help to figure out the truth behind that message. What better to ask someone who came from the journal's data itself?

[Riku frowns at the Sora at his screen for another moment – then sighs.]

…I'll take your word for it for now.

[He'll have to meet the fake Sora before the other ever makes it anywhere near Sora and Kairi, just to make sure… but for now it doesn't seem like he is lying at least.]

Mickey didn't say anything about that. He just told us that there were people that needed help, and that our journeys so far were probably just preparation for what's to come.

That's it? [ Mickey hasn't mentioned the datascape. Well, that's understandable. Maybe he hadn't the chance. Saving those people is a more pressing matter. ] ...So, what now? Mickey did say something about Sora having to call those memories to surface.

[ Suddenly a lot of questions are coming from him at once, almost leaving little time to give Riku to answer him immediately. His face leans in close to the screen, as if that's going to get him any more answers. ]

Hey, are you gonna tell me what this organization is? Are you guys in trouble?

[ Because guess who's reckless and is going to want to do something about that. ]

That was the gist of what he wrote.

[Nothing about any-scape or fake younger Soras, so well.]

We are fine.

[The day that Master Riku needs rescuing by a younger Sora who doesn't even know half of what's going on… well, let's say even now Riku would consider that a sad day. Though, all things considered, he should probably give him some kind of heads up in case the New Organization ever does make it to this world.]

Where are you? I'm not telling you anything about that over the network.

At the school in Heropa. Working.

[ Or hardly working. Data-Sora's here chatting with a bunch of strangers(?) on the internet. He probably should have considered locking this conversation in the first place, but not like he knows how to do that. Or even paid attention when he was given an introduction to the place. ]

I could come to you? [ He's about to stand up. ] My new powers let me get around quicker.

[ A pause, getting ready to sit back down. Maybe just a little excited to use his new powers, but he considers how Riku's being all suspicious about him... ]

Or, uh... would you not want that?

Working.

[The way that Riku echoes that word is rather laced with doubt, because yea no. What the fake Sora does right now doesn't look like working. But fine.]

No, I'm coming to you.

[No way, he'll invite fake Sora anywhere near Maurtia Falls.]

Which school?

...It's a slow day, okay?

[ Sounding mildly defensive. Well, he's not kidding about that. He can hear that doubt in Riku's voice. ]

The public school. Come to tech services.

[The look on Riku's face should say all about how likely he thinks this to be just an excuse. But well.]

There is likely more than one public school.

[Flat tone, because come on Sora, he wants a name. But he's on the move to Heropa at least.]

[ All he's doing is lazily twisting his office chair side to side. At least he doesn't look like he's plotting evil Organization schemes, right? ]

Heropa High School. Not the most original name, I know... but there you go.

[ Sighing, he sits up. He feels a little bad having Riku make his way all the way to his location, when he can easily use his power. ]

Are you sure you don't want me to come to you?

[ And potentially raise even more red flags by showing how quickly he can just beam himself over to him... ]

[No, but Riku knows better than to assume anything anyway. Looks can be very deceiving.]

Definitely not. In case it wasn't obvious enough already; I don't trust you.

[He's onto you, fake!Sora.]

[ It's been obvious for awhile now, but there's still another flicker of hurt across his face. He slumps back down in his chair. Despite how much he's itching to meet up with Riku himself, he's behaving by abiding by his wishes for now. ]

...Yeah, yeah. I can see that. Well, I'll be waiting. Once you're here, you'll understand that I'm no phony.
