■ [001] video
[ The video feed opens up to see a young boy with spiky brown hair, who very much might resemble certain other imPort, albeit this one's a bit younger. It takes a moment for him to realize his communicator's recording, but soon enough he smiles brightly. ]
Hey guys! I'm Sora. Not... the bigger Sora, if you know him. I'm another version of him. Nice to meet everyone! So, uh... what are we supposed to do here?
[ Yes, he did indeed receive the brochure. Did he read the entire thing? He made an effort before getting bored. This is too complicated for him. It's difficult without Mickey around to give him advice. At least, it sounds like he read part of the file folder they gave him. ]
I know I've got some new powers, a new school, and a job now. I've never worked a job before. Then I've got a new home back in Nonah. Makes me feel all... [ A pause, while he tries to think of the word. Wait for it. ] Metropolitan? Yeah, that's it. I don't understand it all, but it sounds like fun!
[ Folding his arms behind his head, he leans back and sort of spins side-to-side in an office chair. Wherever he is, it doesn't look like he's in his assigned housing right now. It looks like some computer lab in Heropa's public school. Data-Sora here is the school's new tech guy. Hi. Work's not so busy right now and he's bored. ]
Oh yeah! [ He sits up suddenly, pressing his face close to the screen. ] By the way, other me? Are you listening to this? I know you're out there somewhere.

[It's like a ping-pong match of 'uh, what' responses here.]
Computer stuff? [He thinks that over for a second.] Like wires and things?
[Robot Sora?]
What would you call it?
[Genuinely curious.]

[ UH, WHAT. ]
Yeah! [ WAIT NO. He answered that without thinking. ] I mean, no! Okay, so I guess some computer stuff is wires and things. But I'm not wires and things. I gotta admit though, a robot me would be awesome.
[ Data-Sora chuckles at that thought. Get back on-topic. Real talk though, calling him and the datascape a fake is rude. ]
The world I come from is called the datascape. It's a data... digital world? [ None of this helps. Where's Data-Riku and Mickey when you need them? He sighs. ] Can I just say it's another world inside of a computer? It's just as real as the real world.

All right...
[Another Sora who's made of computer stuff but not like wires and things computer stuff, who comes from a real world inside a computer.
Well, it's probably not super important he understands all of this perfectly, right? Right...
(He sure hopes it isn't important, anyway.)]
Nice to meet you, then, I guess.
[When in doubt, manners.]
My name's Terra.

Well, nice to meet you Terra!
[ He flashes a smile at the screen. That name doesn't ring any bells, nope. Well, he'll someday recognize something familiar if he ever sees this Terra person's face. ]
So, what's this Mark of Mastery business?
