(( OOC: In reference to this, for all the new folk. ))
[Just as so many predicted, here is Ronan Lynch, once more alive and well. While his bedroom could be easily mistaken for a holding cell of some kind, he's not in chains or locked in a vault somewhere. His device is propped up on the windowsill while he goes about cleaning up the destruction left in the wake of Kylo Ren's grief. He barely glances at the camera as he addresses the network:]
That got pretty fucking dark.
[To say the least.]
You know, ending up on a hit list is sort of a Lynch family tradition, but I never pictured it slapped up on the internet superhero forum. I mean, we don't really do heroes where I come from. And there would've been money involved somewhere in there, back home. But still. Holy shit.
[He sweeps the remains of a shattered stereo into a dark corner of the room and leans against the broomstick, glancing off toward the unseen window. It's not a gloomy day in De Chima, but it's perpetually a gloomy day outside his bedroom.]
This wasn't Cassandra's fault. Or Psychopomp's. It wasn't even fucking Kylo Ren's fault, though I know he's everyone's favorite villain. He's the one who ended it, by the way, so. You know. Maybe say thanks and send flowers.
[He rocks his head back with a roll of his eyes, like he's remembering something else that's awfully annoying.]
And your reports were bullshit. I didn't lose control of my power. I lost myself while the rest of you were out there using me. And I worked exactly the way I'm supposed to. You guys were just so fucking messed up you couldn't figure out what to do with me when you got a hold of me.
Bright side? That was probably your one and only chance. You can stop counting on my "potential to be useful" in the future.
[Looking at you, Jadus, you creep ass.]

That must have sucked then.
Suddenly having hundreds and thousands of uninvited people inside it suddenly.

At the idea of it being true for one. And then...thousands of them. ]
That sounds terrible.
[ Maybe if he'd been anyone she knew, any of her brothers, her sister, she'd have said the word she actually thought. It sounds like shit. Or something worse. But she's trained for the public. Over a decade trained for the public.
Even with her worst fears and memories pulled out and shoved in everyone's faces. It sounds like shit. ]

[Ronan Lynch, the high school dropout with a multiple-offense criminal record, does not especially care to bow before authority. But the Greywaren, maker of enchanted forests and source of countless miracles, loves what it was created to do. Loves every second of turning wish into reality. If Ronan were put in a cage and made to generate endless resources for greedy men, that would be terrible. But that's not what happened.]
Losing myself isn't the terrible part. Sometimes it's the best part.

That's when I'm not alone.

It takes her a long time to format a follow-up.
One that isn't trite, and doesn't feel far too reaching. ]
It doesn't sound like you're entirely alone now.

There are different kinds of alone.

[ She'd been beloved of billions most of her life, and that had never changed it. ]
