[ Some might remember the last time they saw Sabrina she was living in the empty Spellman Mortuary, but the view on the screen today reveals she's returned to her assigned government housing in Maurtia Falls #001. Not that she had wanted to leave her "home", but with it disappearing altogether on her there was very little choice in the matter.

Her expression is contemplative, a low hum can be heard before she speaks. ]

For those of you that come from worlds where you were born with magic— uh, or I guess were given magic powers here...? [ She shakes her head, staring off to the side as her train of thought is derailed. ] Sorry, what I just want to ask is if there's anyone who would be willing to help me hone my own magic?

[ She's had quite a bit to think about since the Diomuhr fiasco. Sorry for nearly getting some people killed. ]

I'm wondering if there's anyone whose magic is primarily based on incantations and is adept at conjurations, too. Since my arrival I've learned that there are so many kinds of magic, something I honestly didn't know much about back home. I'm hoping I could practice alongside someone whose magic is similar to mine.

[ While Sabrina's opened up more about her witch powers, she's never made a public announcement like this before. It's almost surreal. ]

So if there are other witches, that would be helpful, but it doesn't necessarily have to be a witch. Seems like magic comes in all shapes and forms across the universes and still operates similarly in some places.

Me neither. I used to have a book that had been enchanted with divination magic - it could intercept written messages - but I don't know much of it myself. We didn't get that far, with magic lessons.

... I could try asking around, see if anybody has some reading material, or books that we could study.

[melodramagic]

[ Pause. ]

Who is "we"? You and Magnus?

... Huh?

[ This is met with an equally confused pause. ]

No, no, Magnus doesn't do magic [ or read much, for that matter. ]. I meant you and me, and probably Tina?

[melodramagic]

Oh, no, I meant when you talked about magic lessons. Who were you studying with?

[hellosirs]

Oh! Um, his name's Taako. He went back home a while ago, before you got here.

[ It's pretty obvious from his tone that he still misses him. ]

He's from the same world as Magnus and I.

[melodramagic]

So... Taco knew about magic? How adept was he at it?

[hellosirs]

Taako, T-a-a-k-o. He's a wizard, and he's really, really, really good. He used to teach Wizard Kindergarten here.

[melodramagic]

Oh! Sorry.

[ It really did sound like Taco to her... which had her curious. ]

What's Wizard Kindergarten? Exactly what it sounds like?

Yeah, it's what he called magic lessons! It was partly because he's an elf, so he was way way way older than the students, and partly just him being sarcastic. I don't think there were any students who were actually young enough to be in kindergarten.

[melodramagic]

[ An airy laugh, her grin widening. ]

So, this magic book you guys had... it's no longer here? That's a shame. I would have loved to take a look at it myself.

Sorry, it's back home. It was a gift from my Grandpa, I used to use it during my investigations.

[melodramagic]

That always seems to be the case, doesn't it? Things that might be helpful far from our reach.

[ Lachesis doesn't take chances, huh? ]

Honestly, I'm sort of glad it didn't come with me? People communicate through the written word much more often here, and I think I'd be intercepting a hundred texts a day.

[melodramagic]

But what if it could help us figure out a way home?
