But he’s not trying to hurt Dick. He’s just licking his face and looking very happy with himself. Dick laughs and rubs the lion’s face, then looks upside-down at the camera.]

This is the second time Chewie’s escaped from the zoo and followed me home. I’m pretty sure the neighbors are gonna start complaining soon. So, any thoughts?

I was raised in a virtual reality environment. I know my way around computers in any era. Well, I'd probably have trouble with Babbage's engine, but that's only because it was never completed.

Is it weird not being in VR?

It was at first. I had a hard time getting used to the idea that nobody was keeping score and there wasn't a way to reset or save-scum.

But then, normal is relative, and I dare you to find him on my family tree.

The most normal relative of mine that I've met is Abuela and she had demon chickens in her backyard so I feel that, man.

I mean going back to the last save point type reset. Being able to do things over and differently. That's a lot harder to do in real life.

And yeah, I knew it was a computer world, I just didn't have much experience because of the way I grew up fast.

Well, she wasn't dead. The alien parasite in her brain faked her death so she could go command the takeovers of other planets. Although I've died. I don't really remember anything. I just sort of... stopped.

Well, being pulled to the shambling undead side of a zombie apocalypse was definitely unpleasant. But my grandpa managed to fix that part.
