You know, I've been at this a long time, and the fact that so-called heroes are incapable of basic pattern recognition blows my mind.

How many times does someone have to let monsters go free to service their own conscience and keep this little heroc farce going before they're just as culpable for their crimes? Throw them in the same prison they just busted out of, that's basically just a slap on the wrist. Why is anyone surprised when they just turn around and start killing agan? Anybody could solve the problem at the root, but they don't because that'd just kill their little ego trip.

Really, if you ask me? Some people just deserve to die.

Oh yeah, seen plenty of it in the last century. Once that sorta hatred starts, it's hard to stop, i-it's ingrained. Christ, you look at all the fiction making vampires look like blood lusting psychopaths. Hard to break that sorta typing once it's in the media, y'know?

Yeah. ... A few of my friends have been vampires, but I... mm, I used to live with a werewolf, and he... had a hard time, when regular humans would find out. Even the ones who'd already known him, and been his friend.

I imagine it's something similar, considering how stories go.

Oh— no. Remus. [ There's a brief pause before she says the name, but she continues on at a steady clip. ] This was a long time ago. I don't think there's anyone left, from back then.

As for me, most regular people here assume I'm a monster. The ones who aren't imPorts, I mean. I'm not, but I grew up with them, where I'm from originally — and that didn't change too much when I left that world.

[ She's always preferred monsters to people. ]

[ But "unusual" looks does apply, so only here does she switch to a brief blip of video. A young Asian woman, college-age, with an eye patch fastened over one eye; the visible one is a greenish-amber in color. And, of course, the bright pastel shock of hair, a mintish seafoam green, with eyebrows to match.

Huh, yeah, just looks like a good dye job to me.

Yeah. It's natural, though. The tabloids spent a lot of time trying to catch pictures of me "showing my roots," but... can't reveal something that doesn't exist.
