How many times does someone have to let monsters go free to service their own conscience and keep this little heroc farce going before they're just as culpable for their crimes? Throw them in the same prison they just busted out of, that's basically just a slap on the wrist. Why is anyone surprised when they just turn around and start killing agan? Anybody could solve the problem at the root, but they don't because that'd just kill their little ego trip.

Really, if you ask me? Some people just deserve to die.

As a kid, I thought it was good and moral, but now I see how fucked up it is. It basically boils down to the superheroes not wanting to feel bad about themselves and that takes precedence over human lives, so long as they don't know the people. Because they know their villains, but they don't know Samantha who gets murdered when Crazy Dude #34 gets out.

I'll own up to it: I care about everybody in this timeline less than my parents or friends. But I'm not deluding myself or claiming I'm some kind of moral example.

Some of them deserve to die, but not for the reasons you think. If they're monsters because they're sick, really sick, mentally ill - then killing could be an act of mercy. Locking someone sick away makes us feel better, but they're trapped for life, suffering from their own delusions.

And some have to die, to stop the killing.

The thing is, how do you decide who lives and who dies? You don't sound like you trust the courts. Do you plan on doing the killing?
