[ Gold. Hopefully you like gold, because you will see a lot of it. Heavy golden walls behind a large golden throne. Comfortably seated within? A potentially new face, looking pleased and overall just friendly enough despite being clad in full armor, complete with large, horned helmet and holding a golden spear in his hand.

Can you possibly see through illusions? Then enjoy Loki occupying a regular living room while casually holding a broom. He's just here to deliver a show, really. The armor and helmet are real, however.

After permitting the image to settle for a moment, he finally speaks. Loki's initial words are measured carefully. ]

Mortals of this realm.

[ He raises from his throne and takes a step forward before settling into a meaningful pose. ]

You have earned yourself the protection of a god.

[ You get another moment to take this in. Or just enjoy looking at this god. Then, all of Loki's dignified behavior and display slips away in favor of a wide, open grin and his unoccupied hand gestures lightly. ]

They could have just asked, though. You know? Instead of just pulling me here and--

[ He lets that trail off with a dismissive wave of his hand. Let's not talk about that, okay? ]

I am Loki. Rightful King of Asgard.

[ That same hand that has just been gesturing dismissively is now placed over his own chest as Loki offers a bow to his audience. ]

And I look forward to serving you.

[ For his roommates at Nonah #004: Your living room is currently stuck under an illusion. You will find yourself stepping right into Asgard's throne room. It's painfully golden. Enjoy your new Asgardian pest. ]

[ That's an unusual thing to focus on for sure. But fine. He'll just be mildly befuddled. ]

If it depends then that must not include your average door. Unless you’re a lot shorter than the camera makes you look.

The only gods we have back home are Pokémon. Not people.

Well, I admittedly have my doubts regarding most of the doors I have walked through so far during my stay in this realm.

[ And this truly is a strange thing to concern oneself with. It's true that Loki isn't exactly on the short side and that he would have to duck through any of the doors within this house. Luckily, Asgard has taken the presence of helmets like his into consideration when doorways and rooms were built.

In fact. Everything in Asgard tends to be simply bigger and much more open. But--

He decides to settle on the more interesting part here. ]

What exactly are those Pokémon you speak of?

[It may be strange, but being able to fit through doors is kind of important! Most people just don't think about it until they can't though.]

Your realm must be more roomy than ours then.

[He can't hide his amusement but is more than willing to shift the topic. Pokemon is something he can certainly talk about with ease!]

They're creatures from my world, but don't exist in this one.

[Lance disappears as he turns his device to point the camera at an orange dragon lounging nearby. The flame on his tail flickering with Charizard looking very content to simply watch his trainer.]

Asgard's architecture is vastly different from this, indeed.

[ There really is no need of hiding that fact. Though Loki's attention is drawn to the admittedly very brightly colored reptile.

He arcs a brow. ]

This is one of your gods?

[Charizard, having his eyes closed, peeked one open as he heard that and snorted. This is followed by a laugh from Lance off screen.]

No, not all Pokemon are considered gods. They're somewhat like this world's animals, but more intelligent and powerful.

The most powerful of them all are called Legendary Pokemon, and have been revered as gods since before recorded history. Though these days not as much.

[The camera is turned back to him as he speaks.]

Then your people are basically worshiping rare beasts.

[ Creatures certain Asgardians would hunt for fun and glory. ]

Is this dragon your pet?

That's a crude way of putting it. Those rare beasts are said to have created our world. Most of them are one of a kind.

[And well, people in his world hunt them too. Though not to kill them.]

He's my partner and I'm his trainer.

[ Crude or not, these beings appear to be some sort of wild dragons, so definitely something he wouldn't hesitate to kill if necessary.

He raises a brow. ]

He does not strike me as particularly trained.

[ Though that might depend on what precisely the dragon has been trained in. ]

You haven't seen him in battle.

[It's not like Charizard is some dog! And even trained animals can relax.]

Battle?

[ Okay. He can see that using a trained dragon in combat might be useful. ]

You take these animals to war... I see.

Not exactly. They do offer me protection and can do things I can't, but battling is also intended for their own benefit. Pokemon can't grow without being challenged and gaining strength.

So it's a mutual cooperation. We work together.

You are risking to have them struck down solely for the purpose of increasing their strength?

[ Sounds like something Thor would do... ]

Battles are usually a sort of recreation so they don't actually get seriously hurt.

[ So in a way it's battling for fun. With no actual casualties.

Oh well. ]

And you enjoy doing this.

[ A bit of an assumption. ]

Is this sort of warfare usual in your realm?

It's not warfare, though there are those that use Pokemon to commit crimes. It's mostly for recreation, and we do enjoy it.
