[This is new for Keith. He monitors the network, of course, too paranoid not to pay attention to everything that's going on around him, but actually posting something? It's out of his comfort zone. It's the vlog all over again.
So he looks awkward, like he can't believe he's actually doing this. But he is. He's still wearing the green apron that makes up his uniform (the Moonbucks logo just barely visible in frame), mullet tamed back into a little ponytail. He's got a coffee in his hands, and he's tucked himself at a table back in the far corner of the cafe he works in. He's on break.]
Is it really that bad if someone spells your name wrong on a coffee cup? I mean, the drink's right. I always get the drink right. Isn't that the important part?
[Someone has had a few complaints apparently.] It's loud and busy in here. How am I supposed to hear the difference between Bob and Bog? ...Bog could be a name. I know I've met a Bog.
[They were an alien, but that is not the point. He spreads his hands in a "see? a point!" gesture. And in this gesture he uncovers his own name written on his cup. Somehow he's left off the "h" and and scrawled the "t" in such a way that it looks more like a "f" and anyway, he's currently drinking a coffee that belongs to "Keif."
This problem goes deep.
Anyway.]
Sometimes I think this job isn't a great fit. Also I'm pretty sure I'm going to smell like pumpkin spice for the rest of my life. There's not even any pumpkin in it.
[Keith's having that kind of day.
Anyone who wants to catch him in person at work, feel free to find him brooding into his coffee on his break. And feel free to have been personally victimized by Keith's inability to get names right on coffee orders.]

[He also got Bob wrong so he's mostly up against himself, and he knows it.]
Maybe. That might slow the line down though. All the passing back and forth. People get more upset about lines than misspellings.
video
[ Haru frowns slightly, not sure what else could be done to remedy that particular situation. ]
It sounds as if you're not enjoying your job, though. That's no good. Work should still be a place you can enjoy.
video
[Interesting! This is news to him, given the whole new-to-an-actual-job thing. He always enjoyed being a Paladin. And a Blade. Or well, maybe enjoyed is the wrong word. A lot of times it was terrifying and terrible, but he always felt like he was doing the right thing. Like he was helping. That mattered.]
I'm sort of looking at other options, but for now... here I am.
video
[ Keith was always quiet about those things when they lived together, but she blames herself for not taking more of an interest in it. ]
video
[Until he got kicked out. But after that he wound up with a whole lot more very on the job training with becoming a Paladin and a Blade.]
I've never met something I couldn't fly.
video
[ Her hands clap together softly. ]
Because you're um, a Paladin, isn't that right? Defender of the galaxy.
video
[That's him. Newly returned to his team and everything. Or at least he had before he wound up here.]
video
[ Sure, she's a Phantom Thief, but it's still admirable to meet others who are sworn to protect innocents. ]
Maybe you could do something similar?
video
[He's proud of what they've accomplished, Voltron. The Blades. The Coalition and the rebels. Everything.]
Yeah, like I said I'm looking into other options. Shiro too.
video
Shiro?
video
[Now Keith actually smiles, downright fond.] You should meet him, if you haven't. Shiro's great.
video
[ There's more of them? She had zero idea. ]
video
[But huh how about that.] I guess that means all the Paladins have been here but Hunk.
[The nice one even.]
video
[ He has been, but Haru's never met him. ]
video
[Now granted, where Keith is concerned, "nicer than Keith" is a low bar to get over, but overall, it's more impressive.]
video
I'm sure Hunk is very nice, but you're a nice person as well, Keith. One time you even rescued me from a gang of angry roombas!
[ That was a real thing, yes. ]
video
[That's... well. Different. But sure why not. The robot uprising could begin in the house cleaning section.]
But, thanks, for saying so.
video
Re: video
[Well. He fights robots a lot. So yeah he can't hold back a grin.] A little different than the Galra, but sure...robot vacuum swarm. This place is creative at least. Did you make it out unscathed?
video
... our flooring took most of the damage, I'd say.
video
[RIP floor boards. And no wKeith knows he needs to keep a wary eye out for rogue roombas. So he's learned something.]
video
[ She drove her axe into it. It was not alright. ]
Um, are you finding things relatively okay here since your arrival by the way?
Re: video
I am, yeah. It helps that half the rest of my team is here.
[Helps in a major way, really. Keith has always been the loner, yeah, but that's been changing more and more over his time with Voltron. And the Blade. And his mother. And having Pidge and Allura and Shiro here makes a difference.]
It's weird though. Just how... normal a lot of my days are. It's been so long since I've even been on Earth.
