[ It's a break from tradition: Apollo isn't recording this video from the sky, not today. Because he doesn't have time to make this an epic or pretty or even remotely memorable call to arms. Instead he's storming around Nonah 001 trying to find a clean uniform, because why is it you never have a clean uniform when you need one the most!! He's carrying his comms device as he goes, rummaging and clattering around off-screen as he sorts through his laundry. And judging by his tone Sun Dad is not here to fuck around. ]

A friendly reminder from your local Unsettled hero. [ Yes, hero - not the VIGILANTE currently tattooed on his wrist. ] You don't have to be Registered to help save the world. If you want to get involved but your wrist says the wrong thing, let me know and I'll help you out. If you want to do your own thing that's fine too, I don't care. I just don't want anyone thinking they can't save innocent lives just because the US government doesn't endorse it.

[ He slams a hamper lid. ANGRILY. ]

And don't get me wrong - I'm not here to argue the finer points of why Non-Registered imPorts don't deserve to be second class citizens just because we don't want to sign on the government's dotted line. That's not what this is about right now, not when the Bleed is collapsing around our ears. Because frankly? The multiverse doesn't give a shit what you or I think about Registration. No-one that we save is going to check what's written on our wrist first.

[ In fact, it's hard to tell what's pissed him off most - the Registereds-Save-The-World-Only message from the government or the fact that REALITY IS MELTING. Or maybe the annoying state of affairs his laundry is in. ]

This isn't a recruitment drive. You don't need to join ImPact after this is dealt with. And nobody's going to give you a paycheck or a uniform. I just want you all to know that just because you're Unsettled doesn't mean you can't help save innocent lives too.

[ He gives up his search temporarily, facing the video feed with an expression like thunder. ]

And if anyone tries to arrest an Unsettled imPort for helping I'm going to get angry. After we save the fucking world.

[ Just before the video ends there's a half cut-off mutter of 'Door'. ]

It's absolutely inefficient and riskier. I've nearly died because of asshole adults assuming teens won't get involved. Former X-Man, remember?

You've got me, one-hundred percent. Just keep it quiet and ask the teens involved to keep it quiet too. I'm going to have a lot harder time coordinating and helping you guys deploy if the authorities find out and shut me out. Takes a lot of time to hack and there are absolutely people in this world capable of shutting me down if they tried.

I'll talk to one of my old teammates too, about helping. Jonas just got here a bit ago, and this is something he knows how to help with as well. Nothing like a super-intelligent android to assist, right?

Frankly, if this goes smoothly with teens, might be a good idea to keep in contact with people and set up training.

I'm not exactly FOR this whole registered versus vigilante bullshit. I've been trying to stay registered without getting in too deep. But frankly? Might be better if there is someone to help young imPorts and it doesn't seem like the older ones give a fuck.

Right. I'll definitely keep it quiet, and I'll search out other possible collaborators and intel sources too. Relying on a single person is never optimal.

I just Registered because I had no valid reason not to. I don't care one way or the other. I agree: I'd rather everybody have all the support they can get, so I do appreciate this.

Relying on a single person is absolutely the dumbest thing possible. Which is why I wouldn't suggest it. I'll help find more resources.

Jonas, a pacifist? Hardly. He was a Young Avenger, on the team before I was. Trust me, he's good in a pinch. Hell, he's good not in a pinch. And he's definitely got a lot of data even I can't touch. We never met before he came here and he still recognized me instantly from Avengers files. He probably is well suited to assisting in training in the long term. I'll introduce you guys sometime very soon.

Don't worry about appreciating it, Marco. I'm here to keep them alive. I'm probably one of a very small group of people who has led teen teams and knows what the difference between life and death is. Hell, even after I lost my mutation I was responsible for training and managing all young mutants on Utopia, though the adults double-checked some of my stuff.
